Museo Mille Miglia

As I'm a car Enthusiast I really enjoyed my visit to Museo Mille Miglea. Highly recommend a great display of car history

Museo Mille Miglia is worth the quick stop in Brescia on the train line from Desenzano (Lake Garda) to Milan. The Mille Miglia is a storied race that, although in a much different format, continues today in this region. The museum is set in an old convent and the building and the grounds are very pretty. The only reason for a slightly lowered rating is due to the museum being rather small-it ends a little abruptly, but it is also very very hot inside. The day I toured the museum it was 88f outside and had to be almost equal to that in certain parts inside the building. Other than those particulars the museum is a must-see if you are nearby.

It’s clear a lot of love has gone into putting this collection together, and the condition of these truly vintage cars is remarkable. I also liked the glass floor examples of the road constructions through the decades.

Lovely place if you are into motor racing, cara and history of motorsports. Nice collectables at store and restaurant available for a pit stop.

Really great museum for car fans. The museum shows the history of Miglia Millie, 1000 miles race in Italy. It takes you through the journey from in 1927 till 1957. Each year shows how the speed in the race kept increasing. There are a lot of old cars, from the race as well. The cars are really impressive. The price is only 10euro which is a fair price for this museum.

Lots of Car history. Brescia was a surprising quiet location. Easy train and bus ride to the museum. Heaps of history and cars from the 1950’s. For some reason the big brands Merc, Ferrari, Porsche were under represented. Definitely worth the visit for a few hours.

Super car museum, came outside there was a Opel Blitz from Germany from 1956

Nice small museum. Worth to visit when you pass by.
