The museum specializes in paleontology from Castilla-La Mancha. It opened in 2015 and was expanded in 2015 and 2018. It displays numerous fossils found not only in Las Hoyas and Lo Hueco, but also other sites in the region. It particularly houses many original dinosaur fossils, some of which are rare specimens globally. A notable example is the bones of the massive sauropod dinosaur Lohuecotitan pandafilandi, a member of the Titanosauria group. You can purchase admission tickets to the Museo de las Ciencias de Castilla La Mancha as a package.
