Museo Quinta de Bolívar

Amazing to see a part of history, Bolivar lived in this house 423 days.. well maintained and easy to walk around. While their we had the pleasure of observing kids on a field trip, and their teacher was an excellent source of information so important for children to learn about history.

The botanical garden is beautiful and feels like walking through time. It’s hard to believe this is in the middle of Bogota. A serene escape.

I visited on a Wednesday afternoon and got free admission. What an amazing museum! It was fairly quiet, only a few other people there. The rooms are beautifully preserved and restored, and you get a very good feeling for what it was during Bolivar's life. The labyrinth garden was incredible, fresh air beautiful plants, and breathtaking stonework. It takes about an hour to see everything at a moderate pace.

Is to remembering how Bolivar lived in that house. Is a nice route where you could see a lot of story in just one place. The surroundings are amazing, the gardens and common areas beautiful.

Nice experience. The place is well preserved and there are people keeping the property and agriculture well kept. Walking distance from the main square and University. Nice garden and tours are available.
