Nice place with reasonable prices. Not sure how often they changed their offerings but the stuff they had when I was there was super cute. Not too busy and nice stuff.

Found the museum by strolling on the street where it is located, what caught my attention was the facade of the building. The entire building by itself is beautiful and has a historic setting of an old hacienda. The exhibits have several ceramic figurines to ceramic pots. It’s a small scale museum, but worth a visit if you are visiting the magical neighborhood of Tlaquepaque

The display of ceramic is quite interesting, the details of the paintings are found in every pot, tile, figurines, etc.admire the local clay handcraft. Also there's an old hose carriage that gives the place a distinctive touch.

Tlaquepaque is famous for its clay arts but it's very easy to walk through the main tourist shopping area and not notice this amongst the Frida Kahlo and sacred heart souvenirs that you see repeating throughout Mexico. This museum is very tiny but gives a quick overview to the ceramics history of the area and what makes it unique. It's worth a stop if it's your first time in Tlaquepaque and it's free. The amount of pottery wasn't overwhelming (for non-pottery lovers) but the collection was nice and easy to digest. There's also a tucked away gift shop inside with some locally made crafts.
