Museo Regional Michoacano, Dr. Nicolás León Calderón

It’s worth a visit just to see the Philip Gueston and Rueben Kadish Mural “the struggle against terrorism” it’s an amazing mural one of my favourite in the whole city. The rest of the museum is decent, it needs an update for sure and there’s very little information. There is also no signs in English if you don’t speak Spanish. Additionally there is a cost to enter.

Go see the newly uncovered and restored poignant mural. The museum is free. The space is very pretty too.

Interesting exhibition about the history of independence. The building itself is beautiful with well preserved murals. Free admission. The ground floor staff were did not say anything, but the second floor staff said that mask wearing is mandatory, so remember to bring your mask 😷

Great history and displays. The lady at the front desk is also excellent to explain.

Good historical museum of michoacan that does not cost anything. Very informative we and has a lot of history behind the region. Everything is in spanish. The artwork is nice and there are attendants that can help you if you have any questions. This museum takes a while since there is a lot available!

Beautiful and amazing place to visit full of history and culture. The story about how the state of Michoacan came to be and Morelia the capital of Michoacan. You might also want to consider walking the plaza as there is not a dull moment is this majestic heart of the capital featuring all kinds a traditional food and I might add it has an Italian look about the architecture look in all the buildings. 5 stars for these amazing museum.
