This was an unexpectedly informative guide to the entire history of making images for viewing. Motion pictures are a small and final portion of the exhibit. A fun and insightful way to spend an hour and a half, with a few interactive displays. Those who are only movie buffs may be disappointed. Open minds will thoroughly enjoy.

My visit to the Cinema Museum of Girona was a fascinating journey through the history of cinema. The extensive collection of film-related artifacts and exhibits offered a captivating insight into the evolution of this art form. From vintage projectors to iconic movie posters, the museum beautifully documented the magic of motion pictures. It was an enriching experience that deepened my appreciation for the world of film and its cultural significance.

Wonderful place. A hidden jewel. A must if you love cinema. They have unique artifacts. From the beginning of the story telling magic process to the latest technology. beautiful presented. A must do in Gerona.

Great interactive displays (shadow puppets, zoetropes, optic demos). So much creativity on display here. Anyone with an interest in art or science should check it out. Our 5-year-old also loved it and asked to go back the very next day. There were English descriptions on just about everything.

Great exhibits, done with lots of care and attention. And great staff as well. Excelent for kids too.

A good museum to add to your list when visiting Girona even if you're not overly interested in Cinema. I'd say we spent about an hour here, mainly on the 3rd floor as there are lots of interactive displays. Definitely worth the price of the ticket!

Brilliant experience. We went early on a weekday and there seemed to be only one other person in the whole place. Apparently the museum has won awards, which isn't surprising! You really get to experience the evolution of cinema, which makes it great for kids. It seems to stop abruptly around the 1950's however and we felt there was a lot to be said after that too, however that is pretty much my only criticism. Throughly recommended, one of the best things to do in Girona.

Really impressive collection of cinema memorabilia but also historical evolution of the craft. Worth it, and is pretty fun for kids with all the interactive features.
