My visit to the Cinema Museum of Girona was a fascinating journey through the history of cinema. The extensive collection of film-related artifacts and exhibits offered a captivating insight into the evolution of this art form. From vintage projectors to iconic movie posters, the museum beautifully documented the magic of motion pictures. It was an enriching experience that deepened my appreciation for the world of film and its cultural significance.

Great exhibits, done with lots of care and attention. And great staff as well. Excelent for kids too.

It is a very cool museum with a seemingly very unique theme. The perfect museum for everyone who is interested in historical sources, the evolution of the camera, and other filming equipment. Most of the museum is in catalan and castillian (spanish). But 5he beginning has also infos in german, french and english.

very comprehensive from the origins of moving pictures and their development over time with the discovery of light sensitive materials to produce silent movies and on to current movies. the museum was way more involved than I would have imagined beforehand.. well, well worth a visit..

fantastic museum on the development of image projection and cinema from the very earliest period through to the modern day. The material is presented in various languages. The early section of the exhibition very much drives home the human need for image based communication and the innovation behind the evolution of the technologies exploited.

Wonderful place. A hidden jewel. A must if you love cinema. They have unique artifacts. From the beginning of the story telling magic process to the latest technology. beautiful presented. A must do in Gerona.

Great interactive displays (shadow puppets, zoetropes, optic demos). So much creativity on display here. Anyone with an interest in art or science should check it out. Our 5-year-old also loved it and asked to go back the very next day. There were English descriptions on just about everything.

A good museum to add to your list when visiting Girona even if you're not overly interested in Cinema. I'd say we spent about an hour here, mainly on the 3rd floor as there are lots of interactive displays. Definitely worth the price of the ticket!
