"Palma is best seen by foot, wandering down palm tree-lined roads, around the gleaming yacht-filled marina, and through the alleyways of pink and rust-colored buildings. Down one of those alleyways from the hotel, you’ll find the Museu Fundación Juan March, a museum celebrating Spanish artists like Pablo Picasso, Joan Miró, Juan Gris, and Salvador Dalí. The museum is free to visit, and housed in a grand 17th-century building worth seeing for its own beauty, not to mention the precious artwork it holds."

Craving a place where art and serenity collide? Fundación Juan March in Palma is a cultural oasis that pulls you in with its sleek 17th-century mansion and world-class art collection. From Miró to Picasso, every piece sparks a story, and the tranquil courtyard feels like a hidden retreat. Did you know this museum houses one of Spain’s largest collections of 20th-century Spanish art, with over 1,500 works? It’s a must-visit for anyone who loves art with a side of Mallorca’s charm!

a fantastic museum of contemporary Spanish art in an old city palace. A well-curated collection of many types of contemporary art: magical realism, surrealism, expressionism, materialism, conceptual art, avant-garde. There are works by all the major Spanish contemporary artists such as Dali, Miro, Rivera, Laffon, Ponç and many more. All the rooms are airy and modern and structured according to art movements. A great exhibition. Entry is free.

A beautifully renovated art gallery with a mixture of artworks. And it’s free to go in! Go with an open mind as some of the modern art is a bit silly (a wooden pallet does require a stretch of the mind), but there are some other wonderful elements such as the Dali painting. The exhibition of JOSÉ MARÍA YTURRALDE work was amazing. So well curated it would have been worth paying for.

Beautiful gallery for free! Who can say no to that? Its right in the city centre, in this stunning old building, showing artworks of the best known artists.

A pretty hidden gem that you can visit in an hour and find some very exciting pieces. The palace is beautiful, with some spectacular views from the windows on a beautiful sunny day! Maybe not the most touristy place in Palma, but it’s nice to have an alternative to the sparkling fizz of the centre!

Recommended for a break. Great Spanish artists and interesting temporary exhibitions. Friendly welcome. No entry fees. All you need to do is to provide some statistical information at reception.

Free and a beautiful and tranquil little art break while shopping in Palma. Great little shop too.

Nice place, pretty peaceful, not a huge fan of that kind of art, but it's really nice to visit. You can also see one Dali's and one Miro's painting, which is nice. And the entry is free, so if you love art, or you need a time killer, it's a great place for you.
