It's not that impressive, but this place deserves a short visit. For a small price, you can find out some interesting things and support the local culture a little.

Really enjoyed this small museum. It was incredibly educational, with great pieces and bilingual information. About an hour, tops, to do the entire museum and reading about all the items / history. Worth the 3.06 Euros per person.

Very good museum to learn about prehistoric, Roman, Moorish and the history of Portugal and Albufeira. The museum has a lot of fascinating artifacts.

A must-visit in Albufeira! Small museum with interesting exhibits of local origin. I learned a lot about the history of the area, and it was a subject of conversation with my loved ones after the visit. The staff are doing a great job at sharing knowledge. Information is available both in Portuguese and English, as well as Braille. Recently renovated and well-organized. Beautiful ocean view from the windows. Entry fee only €1.13. Highly recommended!

Lovely little museum! And greatly priced at only €1 for entry which is awesome if your on a budget. Great video to explain which they have in different languages which is a great little touch with me been English and not known if much Portuguese yet.

Lovely place with lots of interesting artifacts. Staff are so sound and let us in despite closing shortly, we got a quick run around and very much enjoyed it. The building is beautiful and the views from it are magical!

Quite basic without a lot on display. However for only €3 entry its hard to complain. Handy way to kill 30 mins.

We popped in here during a stroll around Albufeira and spent a good 30 minutes looking at the various exhibits. It is a small museum and 30 minutes was enough to get a good impression of the displays and the history of the area. November is low season and the museum was nearly empty.
