Fascinating place to visit. Steeped with historical artefacts and stories. Was very hot outside but still very interesting. Staff were very helpful and courteous. Would gladly recommend it!

We went after the recent renovation. It’s well preserved with the hope to continue digging and adding, there’s so much history underneath. We had the chance to find both the Roman and Greek museums open, plus the park. The advise is to call to ensure to find them all open. It’s a must see to rediscover the history of the Ionian coast, lots of Roman and Greek influence.

If you love Greek and especially Roman history, this is a must see. The archaeological park and the working farm have a good relationship which make the experience come alive. You truly see how the ancient people lived with the crops that are currently grown. The museum is fantastic. Loved every second of this experience.

What a great experience! An amazing and insightful museum with lovely and competent staff. Almost all information is provided in English and Italian. Stunning details about the ancient Greek and Roman eras of Locri wait for you to be discovered. We thought two hours would be fine - it is definitely not! You can easily spend half a day here and listen to the highly qualified archaelogists. We even witnessed an old shipping wreck which hast been recently discovered! We can highly recommend it! A must-see attraction if you are nearby!

Very interesting site and great little museum. Definitely worth a visit. I would have rated a 5 but much of the site was closed. It was still very nice.

Amazing historical place. This place was the foundation of democracy. Consider that possibly 90% is still unearthed.

Museum is quite old fashioned and with only less important artifacts, because many of the were moved to Reggio Calabria. Archeological Park is well described, but remaining ruins are very devastated and usually barely go upper than base. It's very hard to imagine the whole place and I would recommend it for people more interested in the subject and someone who likes longer walks around piles of stones.
