Museum at the Lowest Place on Earth

A fascinating and well-presented museum at the lowest place on Earth. The exhibits are informative and thoughtfully laid out, but the mummy was especially impressive — remarkable to see how well preserved it is considering its great age. Special thanks to the staff for kindly letting my family and me in even though it was close to closing time. Their warmth and hospitality made the visit even more memorable. A truly worthwhile stop.

I found the museum quite interesting and enjoyed seeing artifacts. They had a mosaic floor on display and some ancient fabrics. There is also the option to take a truck up to Lot's cave for 5 JOD per person.

A beautiful and very enriching museum. I hope it receives more attention, especially regarding cleanliness and ticketing, as I noticed that the staff do not collect any payment for tickets from visitors.

This site needs more tourists visiting. The museum is a quick walk through and they have findings from the site above. Remember, this is a very old site from the time of Lot. It's not huge, nor does it take a long time to visit. The climb up is steep, but the site welcomes you with a view to remember. A driver is available to take visitors up the mountain side if your vehicle is not equipped to do so, or you can walk.

The museum is small and good, but it can be skipped as it's just one room museum with separate area for excavation. It's far off from start of dead sea, close to 80km, hence transport cost is huge. It's included in jordan pass

It’s nice but not many artefacts. Although first time seen mummified Nabateen. They have one small manuscript from the Bible but they are not sure?
