What a lovely, clean, and well-presented museum. The displays are clear, the exhibits are of real quality, and the supplementary information is well written and highly informative. The museum follows the modern style of presentation that many institutions are moving towards, but what truly sets it apart is the lighting. Unlike so many museums that are overly dim, this one is perfectly lit with warm, bright lighting that makes every exhibit easy to see. The effect is both inviting and engaging, creating an atmosphere that encourages you to take your time and really absorb the experience.

A fantastic insight into the history of Operation Dynamo. A reminder to the sacrifice that was made for our longstanding freedom. Worth visiting and keeping the memory alive. Cheap to enter.

We thought this was a great little museum! Obviously not as big and flash as a museum in a major city but we learned loads about Operation Dynamo, lots of nice artefacts and everything written in both English & French so easy to follow. Easy to get round in about an hour/hour and a half and they have toilets. Good value especially with the couples ticket. Would recommend

A small museum but well worth it! So much information on the amazing coordination and courage of the British people! The museum has dioramas, pictures, videos and many interesting artifacts. It provides a very comprehensive overview of the operation to retrieve the British army.

The Operation Dynamo Museum in Dunkirk is a fascinating and moving place to visit. It's located in the original command post used during the evacuation, which makes the experience feel even more real. The exhibits are well-organized, with a lot of personal stories, artifacts, and a short film that really brings the history to life. It’s not a huge museum, but it’s packed with information and easy to follow. Being so close to the actual beaches adds even more meaning. The staff were friendly and helpful too. If you're interested in World War II history, it’s definitely worth a visit!

Great experience, the main reason for my visit to Dunkirk as my Grandfather was on the beach there. Fantastic museum bringing the story and horror's of this historic event, as well as commemorating the fallen. Great entry price 7 euro .

Fantastic museum, small but jam packed full of information and artifacts. Information boards written in French and English and presented in easy to follow formats. Plenty of artifacts from uniforms and weapons to parts of tanks. The dioramas and maps of the operation were really interesting and with the museum being so close to the beach it made it a lot easier to visualise the extent of it. For €10 you can get a joint ticket to both here and Fort des Dunes.

Lovely museum, extremely informative and very well presented in a 19th century, preserved bunker. Excellent layout, lovely staff and great displays with some very poignant items. Completely wheelchair accessible with no issues whatsoever. Well worth a visit.
