Great museum to visit while you're Freiburg. Temporary exhibitions of national standing, in my case by Marta Kuhn Weber.

An interesting museum about modern and contemporary art in southern Germany, worth spending an hour or so of time. Perhaps not as comprehensive as the Augustiner Museum. I think that it's possible to get a pass to all of the Freiburg museums

Really interesting museum. A lot of important conceptual projects connected with the world of sound and its appearance. Almost all installations are interactive, you can take bow and play on different crafted instruments or just strings in the room. The big gong impressed as well other acoustic installations. Recommend this museum.

I would not waste my money going here - at least not now. There is almost nothing to see. The entire second floor is closed off, and about half of the paintings on the first floor have been removed for some reason. A terrible ripoff. But the cafe inside the museum is good?

I did not like most of the exhibits, especially the woman and her puppet work.

Too much new art style for me. Regular oil based canvas paintings are fine.

The permanent collection is interesting but small. The current exhibition on the history of pictograms however is absolutely brilliant!
