Museum Hameln

The building's facades from the 16th century are beautifully maintained. Inside many details are highlighted. The history of the city and the area is covered from prehistoric times and artifacts to the mid 20th century. Very well done!

Fascinating Museum set in a beautiful old building, featuring the Pied Piper stories and artifacts and more. The animated show of the Pied Piper story is quite unusual, worth it just for it's quirkiness!

We wanted to see something from our childhood stories "Pied Piper" and visited the town Hameln. We didnt expect the museum to be that big. There are some exhibitions about the story but at the same time many other historical things can be seen in different floors.

Very interesting museum. It's located on the main Street of Hameln. The building is small but very old and beautiful. On the ground floor there are very old exhibits. On the first floor there is an exhibition about the old legend about the Pied Piper and temporary exhibition about James Bond. On the second and third floor there are many interesting exhibits about history of the city The bad thing that not everywhere there are signs in English and there is no Audioguide.

Lovely museum. It tries to cover the human history from times un countable to modern day. With special interest in Hamlin and a dedicated section on the pied piper legend. Also had special playmobil section, lovely for kids.

Really good Museum to visit. Really interesting and so much to see. Lots of history regarding The Piped Piper. Also through the Centuries History. Another part is the story of The Wild Boy Peter which I had never heard of. Definitely recommend

My favorite museum so far, has plenty of exhibits and offers a lot of information on the history of the city, wonderful in all its aspects. The only thing that it lacks is translations into English for people who do not know the German language. However, it's worth it to visit!!!

Great museum, the exhibits are great and also for children it's fun. The staff was wonderful and gave us information in English, too. Definitely recommend for any ages.
