The permanent collection of ancient glass is interesting to see. It’s amazing to see the different shapes and techniques used in glassmaking back then.
The guest exhibition "Memento Mori" was very interesting, especially learning about Roman burial practices from the 1st to 4th century AD.
The museum also has glass making workshops for visitors, but unfortunately there were no workshops when I visited.

Honestly the greatest surprise of the trip, complete gem! Beautiful artifacts, well presented, great building and a brilliant 5 minute demonstration on hand blown glass. This fish bottle pictured is one of only 3 intact in the world. Great value too

Amazing museum. I honestly knew nothing about ancient glass making til I went to this museum. Seeing 2000 year old glass objects, put into context is really something. A really interesting surprising place in Split. Strong recommend!

We liked the museum. Recommended for visiting. Reasonable price (6 EUR, Summer 2025). As we understand, there are also temporary exhibitions, we were lucky to enjoy Momento Mori exhibition.

Less exposition that I hoped there is, somewhat repetitive but still amazing and a must see. Amazing timed exhibition if you're planing to be there on 2025 vacation ITS A MUST SEE! amazing exhibition on burial looked in 1-3 BC. Truly amazing

The museum is a big disappointment as there are repetite glass items and no history or storytelling for the local craftmanship behind. All two floors are absolutely similar and you cannot gain any other perspective on this material locally out of its tomb usage.
The cutest thing is the wall drawing between the floors.
I'm quite dissapointed!

Quite museum, loads of exhibitions maybe a little lacking in the story as to why so much glassware ? But we enjoyed our visit.

Beautifully curated 1st to 3rd century glass ware. I was surprised how many complete objects were on exhibition. There is also a demonstration workshop and a good souvenir shop. Definitely worth seeing , the ticket was 6€ which I was happy to pay.
