Museum of Contemporary Art Esteban Vicente

It is okay, i guess you rely on whether you have any interest in the artist, it is more focussed on one or two rather than a collection of different artists

Situated in a couple of buildings in the center of Segovia is the Museum of Contemporary Art Esteban Vicente. It's worth visiting if you have the time and inclination. You won't need a lof time to cover the various exhibits on display.

We went on a Saturday afternoon and practically had the place to ourselves. There were two artists featured and the art was very engaging and enjoyable. Best of all it's free!

Overall very nice. The Esteban Vicente collection currently on display is interesting in that his work covered multiple styles reflecting different aspects of his personal and artistic evolution, even though it was not all overly impressive individual pieces. The building itself has some nice features. The auditorium inside is good to peek at as well.

A small, well-curated museum featuring the work of an influential abstract expressionist. Not as radical as Pollock, a lot more like Rothko. We loved it.

Most of the museum was dedicated to the temporary exhibition. It doesn't take long to visit, and it's free, so I recommend it.

This museum is free in. The exhibitions change. So what you see will depend on when you visit. It’s a nice space and it always worth a look.
