Cozy small museum for an 5€ Student price. Collection ranges from oil paintings, photography to sculptures from year 2000 onwards. Very sad is the weird positioning of paintings on staircases which makes it inconvenient to look end enjoy, as well as bad lighting highlighting parts of the picture and makes others very hard to see. Also lights and shadows of other things intercept with artworks.

We were pleasantly surprised by the museum. It’s small, but there were interesting artworks, from photos and paintings to sculptures. We spent about 45 minutes there. The entrance ticket costs 7 euros and there was no line.

It's small but the artworks were amazing. I was surpriaed to see some artists from my small country as well. Definitely recommended if you love art. I liked that they also had souvenirs like cards and bookmarks of some artworks.

This museum has an absolutly stunning collection of contemporary art! You can find here a great set of paintings and sculptures, created by contemporary artists coming from different countries (there were local artists as well). All the pieces are just breathtaking! I think, many of the well-known modern art museums could learn a lot from this amazing place.

A small, quiet museum with impactful works, located right in the heart of the historic center. It’s a great way to step away from the city’s historical side and see how alive and contemporary Catania still is !

A great museum with a pretty nice collection of creative pieces from various artists around the world. Made with different techniques from paint to metal and glass. The entry fee is 7 euro per person and it is definitely deserves some time even if you aren’t an art fan.

We were thrilled by this outstanding collection!! Highest calibre of art from the past decade. Many women, around half the artists Italian / SicilIan. The rest are from Europe and the USA. Fascinating study of the human body and spirit. A must see in Catania.

Entrance is 7 Eur, and it's more of a gallery than a museum, so is it worth it? Are you an art lover? If so, you can spend about an hour if you take pictures. 45 min if you don't. If you're not an art over, it's not for you and probably 7 Eur is too much. The exhibition (which is permanent) is not huge (4 rooms, 2 floors) and not ground breaking but - there are a few very interesting and impressive artwork. If you want something a bit different then churches and cathedrals - this place is a refreshing change.
