"For top contemporary art from Croatia and abroad, don’t miss a trip to this fascinating museum, located in a modern building a short cab ride from the city center. Start with the permanent exhibition Collection in Motion , which features hundreds of works placed around the building. Then, hop on Double Slide (an interactive installation by German artist Carsten Höller that connects every floor of the museum’s northern wing) and check out Battlefield (an audio installation by Croatian artist Antun Božićević on the rooftop terrace). MSU (as you’ll see the museum’s name abbreviated) also offers a rich repertoire of events, including music performances, film screenings, and even parties."

Nice museum, a few different exhibitions happening. Free entrance with Zagreb Card. Easy to access by tram from the city centre. I recommend visiting if you like modern art.

Very cool museum if you’re visiting Zagreb. Some great pieces in the permanent exhibition. The slide to exit the museum was the cherry on top - lovely experience!

Definitly worth a visit! I especially liked the exhibition "collection as a verb". Interesting and thought-provoking exhibits circling around topics of war, refugees and solidarity.

This museum gave me the opportunity to learn about the history and culture of Eastern Europe, and of course, especially the Croatian and Serbian regions. As we re-embrace civilisation after the collapse of the Soviet Union, we can't help but need to think about what true freedom and democracy are. Of course, the respectful activities exhibited in the museum about the treatment of the mentally ill were also impressive, we all need a world of love and peace and an end to violence and war!

I like to visit the museum, I like creativity and innovation. But this one was not so impressive. I was taken aback by the fact what kind of things and ideas today are considered art, and I was impressed by a quote that I read here "... it is not important what you exhibited, importat is that you were invited to exhibit your works... " Museum is a very large space, and it is not filled. However, some parts are quite good and they awake strong emotions. I still believe that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Considering that it was the Night of the Museum, there were not many visitors. I was also impressed by the set of random circumstances that I caught with my camera, which has a good message and depicts the perfect society in which we live. While walking through the museum, somehow the fairy tale The Emperor's New Clothes and the sentence: "The Emperor is naked" kept spinning in my head. By the end, I felt like a child that said it.
