I visited during weekday and the staff oriented us on how we can maximize the museum visit. This a small but wonderful museum worth visiting especially if you are interested about the history. There are plenty of memorabilia about the history of Danish resistance. You will also provided an audio guide as you enter the museum. They have clean washrooms and coffee bar as well. Highly recommended

Dec25- the video shadow style telling of stories just makes this museum history feel so real and close. I empathised with the people and their stories much more that static museum would do. The video at the end of their onward journeys or not was heartbreaking and poignant. Lest we forget. The older lady in the ticket area was charming (she told me her name..sorry too Danish for me) and opened a book on portraits by a painter who erased faces of collaborators & Danish Nazi party members...symbolic of their removable from Danish history...wow. She was so animated and it was wonderful to engage her with my experience; in contrast to two younger staff at audio level who were less interested. Sadly...More staff like this wonderful lady please.. Excellent museum. 💯 Recommend

A fantastic museum. Absolutely worth to visit. It teached me a lot about how Denmark went through the years of war, and the stories of the protagonists are absolutely incredible. Don't forget

AMAZING museum that I highly recommend visiting. I love how the museum tells the story of the Danish resistance through perspectives and memoirs of people that lived through the war. It is really unique and interactive, with both an option to use a phone audio guide or their own audio guide. The layout tells the story extremely well and I learned a lot from this museum. I highly highly recommend spending about 1.5-2 hrs here!!

This fascinating museum offers a unique perspective into this turbulent part of Danish history. The museum takes you along the journeys of several Danes and their decisions and motives to resist or collaborate during the occupation of Denmark in World War 2. The exhibits also display unique objects for this period in history and the audio guide helps you comprehensively navigate the museum.

The best museum we visited during our stay in Copenhagen. We had no knowledge of how Denmark was involved in WWII and this was a brilliantly curated exhibit that takes you through a timeline of events, shows how different lives and attitudes changed and some frank and thought provoking written pieces. Some interactive exhibits that were much better thought out than many others we have seen. A must-visit. Included in the CPH card.

Brilliant and inspiring. Following the stories of a handful of people resisting the Nazi occupation in World War 2, plus one collaborator, it follows the timeline through scenes in sets. The audio guide text also projects onto a close-by wall. Lots of memorabilia. Moving. Very worthwhile. The cafe food is excellent and the snacks are tasty and filling. The coffee is good.

We stayed for almost three hours to learn all about the Danish resistance. It was a very emotional visit. In the end the fate of those brave people had me in tears. As a German I can only say sorry for what was done to you by my grandparents generation. There are many Germans who love Denmark, who go on vacation there each summer. Many of them go to Blåvand and take pictures in the front of the "horse bunkers". They love Denmark for it's hygge, the lovely people, the way this country simply 'feels' different. I think they should also visit this place. Because it gives you an idea about why the Danes are so different, what creates their strong community and love for their nation. And that hygge might be more then getting cozy and lighting a few candles. Maybe then they would value the things we have more, like freedom, like peace. And fight for them, BEFORE history repeats itself. Never again, and resist the beginnings!
