Muzej Mamurluka (Museum of Hangovers) – Zagreb, Croatia - Gastro Obscura

"In the heart of Zagreb, there is the first in the world, the Museum of Hangovers, an enticing journey through the world of indulgence and excess. Upon entering, guests are immersed in a collection of over 50 captivating drinking and hangover-related stories, each brought to life by engaging exhibits that promise both amusement and enlightenment. Interactive exhibits take the experience to another level. Donning drunk goggles, guests embark on the delightful challenge of drunk darts, where precision and accuracy are put to the test. In the drunk-driving simulator, they gain a firsthand understanding of the dangers of inebriation without risking harm to themselves or others. For the ultimate thrill, visitors take on the “drunk floor,” a wobbly path where balance becomes a challenge. With deep fake technology, they can immortalize themselves emulating the poses of famous historical figures known for their love of libations, adding an exciting twist to their photos. Beyond a mere collection of artifacts, the Museum of Hangovers offers an unforgettable experience merging history, humor, and invaluable life lessons. Whether a seasoned party enthusiast or a teetotaler, the captivating museum is a must-visit destination in Zagreb. Know Before You Go Tickets are 8€ for students and 6.5€ for adults." - hrnick, rindub5

The museum is a very good choice for a fun activity in Zagreb. Very interactive with lots of different rooms that represent the stages you go through a night of drinking, at the end we received a shot of rakia. Definitely recommend it!

What a great experience if you are visiting Zagreb, you must visit this place an interactive museum with lots of experiences about Hanover, Parties , drunk stories and more. It is definitely a must if you are in town Anga at the front counter was amazing. You could stroll the whole museum learning about other people’s hung over stores. There is pictures and items found after their crazy Parties. We had fun while visiting this museum. Strongly recommended For more information about trips, bars and restaurants please follow us on our social media and YouTube as AVENTURASCONLOSPAIZ

This exhibition was funny and very educational. Some of the stories we can all relate to, and I’m so glad I’m no longer in my 20s and doing these shenanigans. It was an eye opener for some things and the activities were a good laugh. You can actually do the tour with a beer too and that makes it more fun, and the shot at the end always helps. The staff were lovely and overall it was a great experience, however I do question the validity of the quote that cirrhosis of the liver is the number one reason for death in the world!!!??? Surely not!!

It is certainly an interesting idea of a museum, the concept is nice but the execution would need some improvement. The interactive photo opportunities are laughable gimmicks and very dated compared to what AI can do nowadays. The sets are interesting and the facts too, and we enjoyed the complimentary shot of Raki at the end. Sadly we couldn’t try the driving simulator as it was out of order.

Very good experience highly recommended! Wish I did it at the start of my trip as they also have some fliers for pub crawls at the entrance.
