Muzej Mamurluka (Museum of Hangovers) – Zagreb, Croatia - Gastro Obscura

"In the heart of Zagreb, there is the first in the world, the Museum of Hangovers, an enticing journey through the world of indulgence and excess. Upon entering, guests are immersed in a collection of over 50 captivating drinking and hangover-related stories, each brought to life by engaging exhibits that promise both amusement and enlightenment. Interactive exhibits take the experience to another level. Donning drunk goggles, guests embark on the delightful challenge of drunk darts, where precision and accuracy are put to the test. In the drunk-driving simulator, they gain a firsthand understanding of the dangers of inebriation without risking harm to themselves or others. For the ultimate thrill, visitors take on the “drunk floor,” a wobbly path where balance becomes a challenge. With deep fake technology, they can immortalize themselves emulating the poses of famous historical figures known for their love of libations, adding an exciting twist to their photos. Beyond a mere collection of artifacts, the Museum of Hangovers offers an unforgettable experience merging history, humor, and invaluable life lessons. Whether a seasoned party enthusiast or a teetotaler, the captivating museum is a must-visit destination in Zagreb. Know Before You Go Tickets are 8€ for students and 6.5€ for adults." - hrnick, rindub5

This exhibition was funny and very educational. Some of the stories we can all relate to, and I’m so glad I’m no longer in my 20s and doing these shenanigans. It was an eye opener for some things and the activities were a good laugh. You can actually do the tour with a beer too and that makes it more fun, and the shot at the end always helps. The staff were lovely and overall it was a great experience, however I do question the validity of the quote that cirrhosis of the liver is the number one reason for death in the world!!!??? Surely not!!

A great place to spend some quality time if you have an hour or so to spare. The variety of games available makes it a fun and engaging experience whether you're looking to compete or just relax and have a good laugh. It is well maintained and has a nice vibe overall. I’d definitely recommend going with a group of friends as the more the merrier. Playing together really adds to the excitement and makes the experience more memorable. Perfect for a casual hangout or a quick break from your routine. The lady at the reception was really sweet.

Very good experience highly recommended! Wish I did it at the start of my trip as they also have some fliers for pub crawls at the entrance.

We visited the Museum of Hangovers in Zagreb. Oh my God! It was so much fun and really funny. It brought back memories of some tough hangovers I've had in my life. The museum consists of several rooms and "chapters" that I don't want to reveal too much about, to keep your experience as interesting as mine was. Upon entering, a staff member explains how the museum works. You can also grab a beer or Croatia's national drink, "šljivovica" (plum brandy), and explore the museum with your drink. I had a Croatian beer called "Mali Medo." I don't want to give too much away. I just wish you as much fun and laughter as I had!

The unique place to read stories about other people's funny hangover stories and things they had in possession but had no recollection how did they acquire them are fun to see. The golden linning of these stories is that they woke up to tell the stories.... The map about drinks in some countries and the cure for hangovers are nice touches and educational. The reception desk girl is very informative and kind to return my deposited ID when I totally forgot about it. Great chat too. Strongly recommend to anyone who enjoys a glass or two to visit.

It was ok, some interesting things but nothing special, I don’t recommend it but if you like drunk stories and alcohol facts it can be fun
