Very well designed and informative museum which take you through the history and evolution of textiles and printing industries in Ghent. I could easily spend 3 hours there looking through all that. Highly recommend if you also love old industrial stuff.

Great museum and fascinating place. The exhibits devoted to cotton and textiles were particularly great, really interesting and instructive. The printing section was also amazingly educational, and the vivid recorded video testimonies gave amazing colour to the exhibits. It was great to see some of the huge collection of printing and textile equipment in use for educational projects. Superb translations to English.

Sounded boring, but I found it quite absorbing considering this was the leading technology of the day 200 years ago at the start of the Industrial Revolution and at the end one of the weaving machines has the punch guards at the top which was the trigger for the computer revolution which followed.

A fascinating and well-designed museum! The exhibits cover Ghent’s industrial history with great interactive displays, especially on textiles and printing. The building itself is an attraction (a beautifully restored former cotton mill), and the view from the top floor is amazing. A must-visit if you’re in Ghent!

Interesting museum about the industrial history of Ghent-textiles, printing evolution and factories. I loved the participatory aspects of the exhibitions.

If you’re into the industrial era, this has got to be one of the best family-friendly museums out there! Super fun, interactive, and perfect for kids and adults alike. Definitely worth a visit!

Super interesting museum with permanent and temporary exhibitions. The permanents ones are about printing machines and textiles machines, while the temporary was about plastic. Highly suggested both for kids and adults, with some very fun activities to do such ad the creation of the minizine in the printing exhibition. I also saw some adults doing workshops (unfortunately it seemed just in french or dutch), maybe for the next trip! A museum that's definitely worth to visit again
