2.40 EUR to enter. Self guided museum. Wonderfully air conditioned. Plenty to see for an hour, worth the entry. A mixture of art and artefacts.

Very nice small museum to get to know the history and past of the island. Beautiful art pieces and complete explanations. Almost any other visitor, which is good considering it is located in the crowded old town zone. Almost for free! Tickets are 2,5 euros.

It's a rather small museum, but worth visiting to see the artworks of Mallorca's artists throughout the ages. Some of the paintings were especially striking with their vibrant colors and beautiful techniques, but I also admired the sculptures a lot. The tickets were very affordable, the AC inside was a blessing, and in addition to that, there were very few visitors, so I could look at everything in peace. My tour of the place took around 40 minutes.

Surprisingly no other tourists were there so there was just me. A small museum with no guide but with some gorgeous art. Definitely worth a visit. It’s cheap and the ac is also very nice for a hot day.

It is an art history place explaining the transformation through centuries! You can see the paintings and sculptures beginning from 12th century to 19th century. You will be surprised what can the museum offer you regarding the details of the artworks. There is no English explanations on the works but there are English explanations on the period informations. It's free to enter and not crowded.

Nice museum, over 2 floors, arranged chronologically from c12 to c20. Early religious art and some nice landscapes and tiles from more recent times. Great view of the cathedral from one of the upstairs windows. Only €2.40

Yelp
This was the fish chips house from the 13th century and it's still with the bishop stays today. The palace dates back to the 13th century. The museum is located in the mansion popularly known as "Casa de la Gran Cristiana". In 2015, a section opened as a museum. It is housed in a segment of the city wall in Palma de Mallorca is the ES Baluard museum. There are exhibition rooms on 3 floors where we admired contemporary art. A highlight is the impressive light installation entitled "Light caught in the belly of the whale".

Yelp
An interesting find, this decently sized museum is not more than a block or two from the famous Catedral and is well worth a visit. It includes items dating from the time of the Catalan conquest of 1229 and goes through the Spanish Civil War of 1936-1939. The museum is on three floors with collections that show the history of Palma and Mallorca, displaying archaeological artifacts, fine arts and a large number of Gothic panels. The museum has works by Francesc Comes and Joan Rosat (Gothic painters), as well as the Spanish-Flemish artists Pere Terrencs and Baltasar Buira, and the Renaissance artist Mateu López , all active in Mallorca. Most of the exhibits had captions and explanations in English, Catalan and Spanish.
