The museum has some admirable exhibits, but you can already see photos of all of them here in the reviews section. The entrance fee is 150 CZK, which feels quite high for just 20 miniatures. Payment is cash only. You can walk through the entire museum in about 10 minutes.

It’s a 4 cause it’s underground, you gotta find it to go. Otherwise it’s a 5 star from me Food:No. it’s a museum. There’s a cafe tho Amenities: 3. You gotta go out for the toilet and walk all the way back. View: 4-5. Got some cool structure, very life like, realistic. Service: 5. Excellent staff, helped clear any queries I had Cleanliness: 4-5. I can spot some trash left by some litterbugs but overall it’s clean

I recently visited the Museum of Miniatures in Prague, and it was an amazing experience. The level of detail in the miniatures is incredible, showcasing an impressive range of tiny, intricate artworks that leave you in awe. Each exhibit is a testament to the skill and patience of the artists. The museum is well-organized, allowing visitors to appreciate every piece up close. If you're in Prague, this hidden gem is a must-see!

Really unusual place and interesting exhibits. You can pay only with cash and entrance is 150 CZK. They have small souvenir stand where you can buy interesting figures and magnets. Worth exploring and visiting.

Advance warning, this museum is cash only!! The miniature museum is very small (ha!) and not worth going unless you're already in the area. It's a handful of exhibits of, admittedly very very good, miniature artwork. 10 minute visit maximum. That said, the exhibits really are good, and very tiny. There's just not very many of them.

Nice art work but limited. just two rooms with about 20 piece of art. Warm without any air conditioner. Staff just sell ticket and no more words about museum. A little disappointing, so when people came in and see the size of museum and environment they prefer to leave rather than buy ticket to visit museum.

I didn't want to come here initially, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. You won't spend more than 20 minutes, it's really small, but it's very cool. There are two rooms with microscopes and magnifying glasses along the walls. It's a good place to stop after visiting Prauge Castle, it's a 10 minute walk from the Gate of the Giants.

Enjoyed this niche, little (get it?) museum. We covered all there is to see in 15 minutes. Tickets on arrival were cash only, 150CZK. There is a ATM behind the museum down the stairs on the left. Some really impressive artwork to be seen, not sure how they are made! Worth stopping by if in the area.

Yelp
Is it possible to overhype a Museum of Miniatures? Let me be clear - the achievement here is no small feat.* I cannot even begin to fathom how much patience and talent it must take to put horseshoes on a flea, draw Jesus on a poppy seed, or publish the Guinness Book of Records-recognized smallest book in the world at 0.9 x 0.9 mm. Literally. These are the types of things on display, under microscopes, at the The Museum of Miniatures. They are unique, very detailed, and beyond tedious. But is it exciting? Eh. For 100 czk, I was able to tour this entire, unsurprisingly small museum in about ten minutes. And that was stretching it so I didn't look like a dick. The time it takes to make each piece is unfairly, exponentially longer than the time it takes to view them. I feel for the artist, in that respect. That said, my favorites were probably the caravan of camels passing through the eye of a needle (a nice double meaning piece) and the sailboats on the wing of a mosquito (because that one is just kind of insane-looking). It's also pretty out of the way - past Prague Castle, past Loreta. And after seeing those landmarks, well, The Museum of Miniatures is frankly inferior. Given its size and niche audience, it will never be a tourist destination like its bigger, brasher brethren down the road. But it is certainly different, and like no place I've been before. I had randomly put it on my sight-seeing list for Prague, likely subconsciously (and wrongly) expecting something grander. I'm glad I made it here, but once is enough. If you're in the area, give it a go if you think it's your thing. If not, seriously, don't sweat the small stuff. Ba-dum-bump. *Sorry. Had to. It was right there!
