Museum of the City of Alicante

Castle entry is free but they force all tourists to take detour and go through their gift shop for no good reason against their will. Even for castle exit. Be rebel, take shortcut, cross red line. You are not a sheep :-)

Museu de la Ciutat d'Alacant is a very beautiful part of this castle. It was a nice little hike to get up to the top and it has very gorgeous views of the city and ocean. It's a nice easy little hike up to the Top If you're looking to get your walking in. We had walked here from our cruise ship when we had some free time. There is not a lot of original stuff here it's just the ruins left over. But it has some really beautiful views and it was a nice time hiking up to the top. We definitely recommend coming here if you are in this area!

Небольшой музей в самой крепости Санта Барбара. Все экспонаты выставки можно обойти неспешно за 10 минут, но зайти посмотреть стоит. Вход как в саму крепость, так и в музей бесплатный. Так же по территории крепости местами расставлены инсталяции. Посещать лучше вечером, виды будут получше.

El Museo de la Ciudad de Alicante (MUSA) es un espacio cultural fascinante ubicado en el Castillo de Santa Bárbara. Este museo ofrece un recorrido excepcional por la historia de Alicante desde sus orígenes hasta la actualidad. Las exposiciones están muy bien organizadas y cuentan con piezas arqueológicas de gran valor histórico. La ubicación en el castillo añade un valor especial a la visita, permitiendo combinar cultura con las mejores vistas panorámicas de la ciudad y el Mediterráneo. El recorrido es didáctico y accesible, perfecto para conocer el patrimonio alicantino. Un lugar imprescindible para los amantes de la historia.

Aunque es bastante didáctico ha sido una pequeña decepción. Esperaba algo más grande y con más piezas expuestas. Como está dentro del castillo, de obligada visita.

El MUSA es un museo excepcional ubicado en el Castillo de Santa Bárbara que ofrece una perspectiva fascinante sobre la historia de Alicante. Las exhibiciones son muy didácticas y bien organizadas, con paneles informativos y piezas históricas interesantes. La ubicación dentro del castillo hace que la visita sea aún más especial, con vistas impresionantes de la ciudad. La entrada es gratuita y el personal es muy amable. Altamente recomendado para entender la historia local!
