I had an amazing stay at Museum Plaza Hotel! Everything was absolutely perfect from the moment I arrived until the moment I left. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional — they made me feel truly welcomed. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and beautifully prepared every single day. The service was outstanding in every detail, and the atmosphere of the hotel is relaxing, elegant, and full of positive energy. The location is fantastic as well, close to everything I needed. I highly recommend Museum Plaza Hotel to anyone looking for comfort, cleanliness, and excellent service. I will definitely come back again — thank you for a wonderful experience!

First of all, the location is excellent. The Egyptian Museum is near by and most tourist attractions are close. The facilities are decent for the price, and the complimentary breakfast was a nice. Regarding the bathroom, hot water is readily available, and amenities are plentiful. However, the roadside location makes it noisy, even at night. While it's called a hostel, it offers private bathrooms and is comparable to 3-star hotels. Overall, I was very satisfied.

I would like to give my highest compliments to Mostafa and Mohamed at the front desk. Their service was absolutely exceptional. They always welcomed us with a warm attitude, and whenever we had a question or issue, they handled it quickly and efficiently. Both of them were incredibly attentive, thoughtful, and went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect during our stay. Thanks to their professionalism and genuine care, we had a truly wonderful experience at the hotel.

Sharing my experience as a solo traveller so people can make their own conclusions before booking. CONS: I booked this through a booking platform but not able to leave a review there as it was through its partner deals. I booked a deluxe double with a balcony and more space than a single around 20 sq feet more - the photos on the platform was misleading. I believe was given what looks like the single room instead with no balcony per the photos of the single rooms on the booking platform. The room was really small so it's hard to place my luggage. The "double" room was very cramped and had a nasty smell that they covered with air freshener. I requested to change and asked about the room size. The receptionist explained they have many types of rooms and it's a double as the room contain a double bed but I don't buy it. I believe all their single rooms have double beds. My room was changed to a bigger room with two single beds (but still no balcony) next to the reception facing the museum which looked like the deluxe room in the photos. As I was wrapping up my trip, I did not want to ask further about the balcony or the room. There was double the noise: traffic noise from the street and also the noise from the reception from the kitchen, phone rings and people putting their phones on speaker at the reception - they were using the kitchen up til early mornings. The kettle in my room had black stuff in it so I didn't use it during my stay. PROS: Location is central at the main square, with the museum opposite. Kitchen lady was friendly. There's a takeaway place next to the hostel.

Stayed in the hotel from 16 Oct to 19 Oct 2025. Delicious breakfast gave me energy for the rest of the day. The breakfast came with fruits that were sweet and fresh. Thanks to Heba for preparing the breakfast. Also thanks to Alla and Nour for arranging transport for me to visit the Pyramids. They gave a friendly and personal touch to staying in a foreign country.

Our experience was GREAT. It is ranked as a hostel but it felt like a hotel. Private room was spacious with bed, sofa, wardrobe and private bathroom. Very clean. And the staff was beyond kind, a young team running the place both profesional and close. A special thanks to Wafaa, Asmaa and Ala - they made our trip to Cairo very special and if we return, it will be to the same place

The room has a view to the interior of the building but bearing in mind the noise from the traffic in the outside facing rooms that may have been a blessing :-), the room was clean though. The staff were very helpful and an abundance of breakfast made the stay a pleasant one.

Location is smack on the edge of the luxurious Nile river side….Ritz,Museum is just a stone throw away.Service by Noor, Ella and Abdul were fantastic Rooms are clean and comfortable. All enmities worked well.Very near to a wonderfully authentic local Egyptian restaurant….Taufiq’s KosharyHad a great meal experience there.About 200m away, one can purchase local beers and wine from a corner kiosk without being ripped off. The shop is at the corner Junction of Karim Al Dawla street and Mahmoud Bassiouny road.
