Very nice experience. Service is top notch as well as the food. Ambience rules here! Combination of restaurant and museum is surprisingly marvelous. Thumbs up!

A true gem in St Anton. Worth the short walk up the hill to eat in a traditional Austrian building. The food is excellent - highly recommend the Schnitzel! Reservations not required for lunch - we walked in twice and had plenty of choice for a table.

There was 8 of us who came for dinner and we were seated in their private dining room which really suited the group vibe. The service was very welcoming and Kathrine was a great waitress. The food was mostly good but it was on the pricier side given the quality. My friend and I shared the herb crusted saddle of lamb (great flavour and perfectly cooked lamb) and the trout with potatoes and root vegetables (the fish was cooked nicely but the flavour overall was very bland).

This is a very upscale restaurant situated in historical old house with amazing atmosphere of the 19th century. The service and food are impeccable. Our server was very friendly and accommodated all our requests, including those that were out of the menu. For instance, one of my friends asked if the chef could make a duck breast instead of the main course as an appetizer, and they did just that. Everything was very delicious, starting from the bread and butter. They do provide you with apricot oil, which I initially thought is flavored olive oil. But no, it is a special kind of apricot oil and was so delicious that we had to ask for extra. My absolute favorite was lamb, version, and duck. From their desert menu, it is an absolute must to have Kaiserschmarm, which is arguably the best in Austria, and definitely in St. Anton. The creme Brule is also insane! We were offered a free shot of schnapps. Please take the hazelnut flavor. You will thank me later. But it wasn't it, as I mentioned the restaurant is located in a historical house and the second floor operates as a museum. Usually they charge 5 euros to visit it, but after 7 pm it is free. Our server was kind enough to give us a quick overview of the history of the region and town. The museums are small and composed only by 5 rooms, but it is informative and interesting enough to visit it to learn the history of the region. Overall it is a very nice and tasty place with a beautiful view. Please make a reservation to visit it

Such pleasant owners to work with! Very accommodating! Special Austrian dinner on our last night! Everyone enjoyed their meat dishes! I’d stay clear of the vegetarian entrée- resembled texture and taste of spinach baby food. Everything else was really nice - they made our daughters birthday lovely!

A really nice place to go for dinner when you are in St Anton. Personel was so friendly. Food was good. The ambiance is great as you are having dinner in a museum. Between courses you can go up with your drink and walk around. Make a reservation, otherwise it might be full.

Treated ourselves to Museum for our final Austrian dinner. The service was good, and the food was fantastic. We got the beef tartare to start, the venison and tafelspitz as mains, and the hot love for dessert. All were delicious, food was served quickly once we put our orders through, and the museum itself is interesting!

Yelp
Nice traditional atmosphere and good service but food was mediocre and relatively expensive

Yelp
Nice classic Austrian food in a classic setting with classic service Really nice ribeye steak and a massive portion of schnitzel. Better prices and better food quality than many restaurants on the main strip.

Yelp
This place was recommended to us after we asked for a place that did nice Austrian food and this place was just right. We had soups to start. My husband's choice of onion soup with cheese dumplings was the winner of that round. I had a beef broth with herb pancake which was ok but I felt like it was missing something. I had veal ragu on polenta while my husband had the crusted lamb...it was neck & neck in this round but I think my main just got in front. We were surprisingly full so decided on sharing the apple strudel. It was a perfect way to end the meal. We managed to have a quick walk around the building which houses the history of skiing in the Alberg region. All in all a lovely meal.

Yelp
Just had dinner there, the Winter Salad with duck had great flavor, the boiled beef is an Austrian special so I had to try it then the Austrian pancake dessert with ice cream and plums was very good as well. All in all the service was wonderful and we had a party of 8 in our own private room. The waiter was very attentive and answered every question we had in very god detail. The Pinot was very tasty and went with our meal very well. I very much enjoyed the meal as well as the walk to and from the Museum Restaurant.

Yelp
Amazing!!! A spin on traditional Austrian fare and great ambiance. Service was great as well. There is also a cool museum about the history of skiing.... stop here during your trip to St Anton!
