This museum had so much character! With free entry, you can go through a whole timeline and collection of grocery and packaging-related history in either Dutch or English. On top of that, the front of the museum acts as an old-fashioned candy store, pricing candy by scaled weights etc. which is a really fun (as well as affordable!) to watch. The ladies working the museum on the day we went were kind and went out of their way to greet us and explain how to go through the museum. We had a very warm and pleasant experience here and would recommend it for all ages. Also, it’s a great spot for unique souvenirs.

Cute little museum with some very friendly ladies. Definitely worth a visit, especially since it's free. Just donate something and/or buy something in the shop (candies at very reasonable price)

We had a wonderful experience. The staff working there were super friendly, informative and seemed to love to share their knowledge about traditional Dutch sweets. The museum portion—which is free—had a fascinating history of Dutch supermarkets. The only wish I had would be translated information for non-Dutch speakers. However, that’s really easy to get around these days with live image translations on phones. Unfortunately, that’s not the case for the video that plays in the basement area. Having English subtitles for it would be a nice touch. It’s still 5 starts in my book as you can still immerse yourself in the old packaging, massive matchbook collection and pin collection!

This is really cool. A small museum for the history of grocery stores. There are many old products, newspaper and magazines. A short film in Dutch is still interesting even if you don't speak it. English QR codes available. There is also a shop with old fashioned candy.

Super nice little museum, very informative and filled with grocery items packaging from the past century. The staff is friendly and kind, and there is also a nice little coloring activity for kids in one of the rooms.

Such a unique museum! We loved it! Informative, and visually pleasing to the eye (the packaging 🤩). The two ladies working there were lovely! So much fun. ☺️ I bought some really good "drop" there (licorice). I should have bought more!

Don't sleep on this museum! Fascinating to see the old grocery packaging and history Also, they sell old-fashioned candy and other retro-looking grocery items that make great gifts, and the volunteers are incredibly nice.
