MuseumLab

We had our wedding at MuseumLab on 10/21/23 and it was the best day ever. I know now why every vendor I told our site to was so excited to be at ML with us! Allyson is a fabulous venue coordinator who is friendly, organized, and thorough. She went above and beyond at every turn to help us keep everything together and create a beautiful space. It was great to be able to have our entire event in one space but be able to use multiple areas to really keep everything flowing and give every area a distinct job. The building is so beautiful on it's own and really is stunning at every turn. On our wedding day I was not worried about any set-up or tear down logistics, I knew that she had everything in the venue on lock and I was absolutely right! Everything flowed so well and they took great care to transform the space. You get a lot included for the reservation price like a lot of tables & chairs, drapes, and a great team of employees. We really felt taken care of and like everyone at the venue was just as excited as we were! Thank you to Allyson and her team for an amazing experience.

I photographed Liz & Dan's wedding here and it was one of my favorite weddings. It offers such a unique space, and it's in a perfect location. The exposed brick and industrial vibes are beautiful. As a photographer it's a dream venue. I highly recommend it!

MuseumLab is housed in a beautiful old Carnegie Library on the north side of Pittsburgh. Much of the original character of the library remains including a tile mosaic in the floor and architectural archways and columns. The staff of MuseumLab is welcoming and friendly. The Mo Willems art exhibit on display was a fun juxtaposition of modern art against the early 1900s architecture.

Such a nice place for everyone. The building has an amazing architecture and the inside is preserved with a twist of modernity. The kids loved all the activities on the 1st floor, the 2nd floor was closed unfortunately so we didn't get to see what was going on there.

One of my absolute favorite wedding venues hands down! What makes this place so special is the variety of beautiful spaces it offers. Every corner feels like its own little world, from dreamy dinner space to unique indoor stairway, each with its own vibe and character. It’s a creative playground that truly lends itself to an unforgettable experience, for both couples and guests. As a vendor, it’s a dream to work here. The flow of the venue makes every part of the day feel effortless and inspired. It’s one of those places that just feels good the moment you arrive. Can’t wait to be back!

Staff was great. Security guard is a joke! Staff when we bought tickets told us the youngest couldn't go, but the older kids could go in without an adult. Totally fine! Got over there and the security guard told us that I had to go in with them, but suggested the 3 year old waited outside! I asked if he expected me to leave her outside alone and he laughed and goes "well she cant be in here can she?" Crazy! We will not return

Fun add on to a day at the Children’s Museum (included in admission). Don’t skip the gymlacium! They’ve made a great rope climbing activity out of the original library bookshelves for the structural integrity of the building.

We had our wedding at the MuseumLab (~120 people) and absolutely loved the venue. I can't even believe there was a time where we considered other locations. Our guests loved that we used each floor of the venue and had everything at one location. Each floor made for a unique space for the different events and the overall flow from 1st to 2nd to 3rd floor worked very well. Allyson was great to work with. We absolutely recommend MuseumLab to others planning their wedding.
