Absolutely outstanding collection. The galleries in the older part are located around the cloisters of St Annen monastery. Medieval sculpture, altars, and other religious art is presented on the ground floor. The upper floor contains a diachronic and partially thematic display and feels almost maze like. Can’t recommend enough!

This museum is deceptively big. Really good bang for your buck.

Beautifully housed in an old convent for the part for old art and a modern building for contemporary art. Wonderful collection of Middle-ages art with good information in English as well. A nice cafe, shop and clean toilets completes the positive experience.

Loved the Museumsquartier St Annen! It is totally worth a visit! It’s massive though which I didn’t expect.. I thought would be small but took me 3 hours as has so many different artifacts, old, religious to modern art. There is also an art cafe next to it. the museum staff is super nice! Recommend it!

Well kept museum with paintings from different areas of Lübeck. Friendly staff and English descriptions are available. There is a cafe in the ground floor too. We had a stroller, but we have to remove everything from under the carriage or on it.

This has to be one of the most outstanding collection of religious statues, art and altar pieces I’ve seen in one collection. Lubeck lost its churches in the SWW but these items were stored and saved. Well worth the entrance fee and highly recommend to add to your places to see in Lubeck

Visiting the St. Annen Museum Quarter was an enriching experience that allowed me to dive deep into Lübeck's captivating history and culture. The beautifully curated museums, each with its own unique focus, provided a comprehensive journey through time. From the fascinating St. Annen Museum showcasing the city's medieval origins to the captivating displays of art and nature at the other museums, I was truly immersed in the charm of Lübeck. The Behnhaus Drägerhaus art museum was a personal favorite, offering a delightful collection of 17th and 18th-century artworks. The knowledgeable staff and well-preserved exhibits made my visit memorable. If you're in Lübeck, the St. Annen Museum Quarter is a must-visit for anyone seeking to explore the heart and soul of this remarkable city.

Impressive building and art collection. The historical pieces made me feel like I was in the city 400-500 years ago.
