Gent Jazz is incredible! For a festival, the sound setup is top-notch, and the live video feed is super handy if you’re not right in front of the stage. The staff and volunteers are extremely friendly, and the venue is perfectly suited to a high-quality event like this. I’ve added a picture to show that the audience is pretty cool too!

Nice programming , the concerthall itself is not 100 pct adequate: too deep/long , insufficient elevation to nicely view, distant from the scene

Went to a really nice candlelight concert here, very nice atmosphere, they also have a caffe there if you arrive early you can drink something or eat. Nice location.

The whole complex is beautiful, but the concert room (where candle light concerts are organized) has poor acoustic

I very much enjoyed the orchestral playing of Mahler 4 today, which made the previous piece—a Schubert reconstructed by Berio—so banal and Mahler so great. The music hall itself—adapted from a medieval hospital but with excellent acoustics—is a piece of art.
