Musik Boutique Hotel

We had a fabulous week-long stay. We looked at many boutique hotels in the Gothic Quarter and El Born and narrowed it down to ones with reviews that commented on quietness at night. There is a lot of night life in those tourist areas, so we wanted someplace where we could sleep but still be in the middle of the historic area. Our room was on the second floor facing the street (more like an alley, but a street nonetheless). IT WAS SILENT AT NIGHT! The room was spotless and the service at the front desk was friendly and helpful. We also felt very safe coming and going from the hotel. There are many great restaurants and bars within a 2 minute walk. We will definitely stay here the next time we are in Barcelona.

The Musik Boutique Hotel was an excellent place to stay. Located in the El Born district of Barcelona, we were within walking distance of many attractions. The room was clean, comfortable, and breakfast was divine. The staff, Ennio, Denis, Elvis, and Geyak were extremely helpful and accommodating. I highly recommend this hotel!

We had four excellent nights in this little gem. Clean room spotless shower. Charming view down the tiny alley opposite the hotel. Even a very smarl veranda where we could enjoy streetlife and if the door was closed no noise what so ever|We arrived late but still had excellent service by the porter.|Breakfast was a treat with international and catalan choices on the buffet. There allso was vegetarian options. Can recommend

What a gem! This was our second time in Barcelona and I'm so glad we selected this charming hotel. The staff are incredibly kind and accommodating, the rooms were very clean and nicely updated, and the location was fantastic. Thank you, Musik Boutique, for your warm hospitality!

My family and I stayed at Musik Boutique Hotel for the weekend of my birthday. The room was gorgeous, super clean and tidy, with a modern style and walk-in shower. Attention to every detail, spotless. The staff were beyond helpful: they suggested two great restaurants, with lots of locals from Barcelona, which made the experience very special and perfect for a birthday celebration. The hot water went out on the first night, but the staff were on it immediately and ensured it was fixed quickly. They apologised profusely and we're so nice they knew it was my birthday and gave me a bottle of champagne to celebrate and make up for the issue with the hot water 🥳!! I was touched, they really went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. Finally, the position of the hotel is unbeatable, right in the heart of the El Born district, close to the Gothic quarter, absolutely charming and beautiful! Cezar and team, thank you so much for making this an unforgivable experience. Can't wait to come back!

Fantastic location, excellent room and very nice breakfast. The hotel is within walking distance of most major attractions. It is also just a two-minute walk to the bus stop so you can hop a bus directly to Park Gruel – just tap your credit card upon boarding - $2.65 each way. We loved walking around the neighborhood and the narrow streets. I suggest booking a concert at the Palau de la Musica Catalana which is a 5-minute walk from the hotel– it was one of the highlights of our stay in Barcelona. One thing to note: if you come during the day, cabs may not drive you to the front of the hotel because the streets are so narrow and there are lots of pedestrians, so you may need to walk a few blocks to get to the hotel.

Loved our stay in Musik Boutique Hotel......great central location that is within walking distance to so many sights. The rooms are very clean and the staff is wonderful - offering help with any question. Added bonus is an amazing breakfast on-site. Greta restaurants within a 5 minute walk.

Loved this boutique hotel! The staff was so kind and the hotel was so clean and quaint. They left a bottle of champagne upon my arrival in the room. That was a nice little surprise! The room was small, but that is normal with European hotels. It was very clean! The terrace was furnished with a table and chair. It offered nice privacy, but charm as well. It was a nice respite from the room. I was there on New Year's Eve so it was very noisy that night, but when the door to the terrace was closed I could barely hear the noise outside. Whenever people were in the hallway, it was easy to hear them. Sometimes I could hear people in their room, but barely. I slept very well (in fact, I over slept because the curtains did a good job blocking out the light). The Wi-Fi is very strong. I care about this a lot as I must work while traveling. The hotel is on a small street and some taxis will say they cannot go down the street, but they absolutely can drop off and pick up right in front of the hotel. In terms of safety, you have to use your common sense in any city. I was traveling solo as a woman and I never felt unsafe near the hotel or in Barcelona as a whole. Just pay attention to your surroundings and protect your belonging from pickpockets as you would anywhere else. There are plenty of miscellaneous stores, cafes, nail salons, and barber shops on the same street. The hotel is walking distance from a lot of sights. I actually only used the taxi once during my stay. Other than that I walked everywhere. Again, I loved my stay here and would definitely return.

stayed at the same hotel about 10 years ago on a girls trip. Still as nice as before, but made the mistake, on my part, of booking a single room instead of one for my husband and I. This room is tiny as they gave me the room I was supposed to supposed to occupied alone. And when I say tiny, I mean tiny. There is no desk no chair no luggage rack, shoebox for a closet and no place to put your luggage other than on the floor. Front desk personnel very very nice and helpful. Wonderful wonderful buffet breakfast. as I said, the rim situation was entirely my fault, but even for one person, there's no place to put your things. And while as I said, the breakfast is great, the guy that restocks the food, startled me one morning, very quietly walking in. He spoke, I jumped and when I said oh my gosh, you scared me he just merely shrugged. That's about the only really negative thing I can say about this place.

Hotel is located in a very convenient location with many restaurants, shops, and sights within walking distance. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Our luggages were delayed and front desk helped us call Lufthansa to arrange the delivery. Room is spacious, bed is comfortable, bathroom is clean. Hotel offers breakfast for a fee but coffee and tea is free. Definitely will stay again next time I come back to Barcelona.

We stayed in Musik Boutique hotel for 3 nights and we enjoyed it to the fullest. Receptionists were all super polite and friendly, A lovely handwritten note welcoming us, a free bottle of wine and top of all they offered us a free buffet breakfast (I guess it was 10€ per person) which unfortunately we missed it because of jetlag. The room was SUPER CLEAN, and had all details one might need: safe, tooth brush kit, shaving kit, slippers, candies.. I know most hotels have all these but Musik Boutique was exceptionally low priced for what they offered. It was a very pleasant experience staying there and definitely I recommend it to my friends :-) Cons: -neighborhood was a bit unsafe at nights -blankets could be a bit more comfy

We checked in today and the first thing I noticed was a great costumer service. I have been traveling to different part of Spain this year but I have never had such a great experience with costumer service in Spain. The guy at the reception was so polite and helpful. When we arrived he hurried to help us with our suitcases. He speaks fluent English. He helped us check in and tried to show us the whole neighborhood and their attractions on the map. Every time we leave or come back they are so polite and welcoming. They even ask if we need anything extra. I like this place a lot. Location is great ! Our room is so clean and neat. The size of the room is very good. Bathroom is so neat.

We stayed here for 3 nights and it was perfect place for us. The hotel is right in Barri Gothic, close to almost everything in old city. The hotel is small but it is clean and modern with all the amenities you need. Our room was decent sized and very clean. The bath products were great quality, there were bathroom slippers, bathrobe, dental kit, shaving kit, shower cap etc. They had thought about every needs for travelers. Our room had window overlooking the alley which was very busy but there was not much noise to be heard if window is closed. I think that A/C works only when windows are closed, which is great! The staff at reception were very friendly and greeted us warmly everyday. They gave us an orientation of the area on map and gave suggestions on what we can do. Our train was at night the day we were to check out and they allowed us to keep our bags in storage all day. They even allowed us to sit in their lounge area to charge phones and freshen up before we left at night. Overall, a great place to stay while you are in Barcelona and I would totally recommend it.

Clean, modern hotel within walking distance of great restaurants and most tourist destinations. The surrounding medieval streets are narrow but taxis somehow can navigate it. The free wifi was fast and reliable. The complementary breakfast was excellent. I loved the fresh squeezed orange juice. Save some room for churros and espresso at one of the nearby cafes. The room was modern, well appointed. The AC was powerful. The only English tv channel was Russia Today.

This place was great! Our receptionist Glenn and David were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. It was in an older neighborhood but we were out till 11 pm and everything was just fine. The hotel was newly renovated and very clean. The room and the bathroom was a good size. Our son enjoyed the breakfast buffet very much. There are plenty of variety to choose from. The area is pretty centralized . Behind the hotel is El born then to your left will be the gothic quarter. Its very close to the main road and plaza Catalunya and you can take the bus and train pretty much anywhere. One thing though is maybe they can add an iron in the room and oddly there's no phone to call the front desk. Will definitely stay here again when we go back to Barcelona!

Best hotel we stayed at during our visit to Spain. The hotel staff is very friendly. They had a great breakfast, for us Americans used to a hot breakfast with eggs bacon and a great lattes. The hotel is located minutes from the Picasso museum and many of the best tapas restaurants in the city. The room is a generous size as is the bathroom. Will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Barcelona.

Staff was great, entry smelled lovely, everything was clean. Beds were pretty comfortable but not the best. I would highly recommend they add fans to the bathrooms - hard to breathe during showers with door completely closed! I would recommend - PERFECT location.

All I can say is I am truly satisfied 110% !! what a hidden jewel ! Probably the nicest place I have really ever stayed at , zero compaints. located a few blocks from the heart of Barcelona. never being in Barcelona , walking down the street seamed to be a little intimidating at 1st. but 1st impression , I was totally wrong, that's how the city is built, tight narrow streets, businesses are all on the 1st floor, it was totally fine ! once we got to the hotel and the glass doors opened up it was like ( WOW ) !!! clean, modern, nice bar right in the lobby ! what more could you ask for ! well it was raining, they offered us free umbrella's to take and keep . free wifi , slippers ,or the MP3 player and cable to hook to the sound system . I don't know if I'll ever visit Barcelona but if I do, I will be staying here. The staff was so friendly and helpful with sugestions and information. we stayed there because there is a 3 country tour that leaves next street over. if there was 6 stars they would be getting them. worth every penny !

This is a hidden gem in the gothic area of Barcelona, Spain. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast in the hotel is a great bargain and delicious. You can't beat the value. Great room and a great price.
