"A Real-Life Aladdin's Cave There isn’t a housewarebuyer in the world who doesn’t whisper of the treasures that can be unearthed in this Aladdin’s cave of a store spread over several floors and houses in Dar el Bacha. Alas, these days Mustapha Blaoui is probably Marrakech’s worst-kept secret, but it’s no less magical for that. Whether your preference is for a fuchsia-colored juju hat (all the rage for giving a pop of color to a boring old wall), bone-handled cutlery, a silver teapot and engraved glasses, a chrome-plated art deco mirror, giant beaded heads from the Cameroon, or Syrian furniture inlaid with mother-of-pearl, chances are Mustapha has it. Even if itdoesn’t, you can easily lose yourself in this labyrinth of rooms for several hours, swept up in the magic of the Orient."

Wonderful place. Almost like a museum. It's a huge store, you can get lost easily. So many hidden gems, I could not stop to walk through trough the store. You will find high quality items, no tourist stuff.

I adored this store when we were there 10 or 12 years ago with an art group for a project and the goods were gorgeous! LEAVE ROOM IN YOUR SUITCASE for new treasures (when I was there they could ship worldwide, so check with them on shipping options, best option). The exquisite tug in our entry way was purchased here and I still love it 💕. Charming owner, helpful, attentive staff and a delightful experience just being there. Absolutely recommend

This place is a veritable treasure trove if you're willing to rummage a bit. There are many things that are new and beautiful, but you can also find some amazing antiques tucked away in the various nooks and crannies. Make sure to go down the stairs beyond the kitchen to the left when you enter. There are hours worth of things to look at...

A paradise for buying all your Marocain souvenirs and craftsmanship away from the hustle and bustle of the souk. Prices here are reasonable and no hours of haggling required.

A little hard to find, my favorite shopping experience in Marrakech. I had to tip a local to help me locate the shop. It truly is an ali baba, mother lode of treasures. A more curated experience than shopping in the souk, and more relaxing vibe too. They can help to arrange reliable shipping services for international customers (be warned the shipping cost will probably be more than the item you are buying).

I didn’t buy anything here but spent a lovely half an hour looking at the beautiful things and getting inspiration for a future buying trip - I felt compelled to review as it was a welcome relief to be left to browse in peace without being followed around and no pressure to buy.
