I’m a Travel Advisor, and These Are My 5 Favorite Caribbean Private Island Resorts
"Steeped in mystique and long favored by the British royal family, Mustique in St. Vincent and the Grenadines offers stays at The Cotton House (a 17-bedroom boutique hotel) and villas from two to 10 bedrooms; highlights include cocktails and dancing at the legendary overwater Basil’s Bar and horseback riding at the equestrian center, making the island worthy of a trip on its own or as part of a multi-island itinerary." - Maria Diego
"A posh private island frequently visited on day sails from nearby ports, known for exclusive resorts, high-end privacy, and a reputation as a getaway favored by celebrity and well-heeled visitors seeking discretion and luxury." - Carley Rojas Avila

An 8-day Sailing Trip to This Part of the Caribbean Became My Family's Most Adventurous Trip Yet
"A ritzy private isle favored by celebrities (noted example: Mick Jagger) and known for yacht-friendly anchorages; the party spent the night in a sheltered bay on the island and woke to plural rainbows and breakfast aromas prepared by chef Magdalena St. Croix, described as a 63-year-old St. Lucian grandmother who has worked on yachts for decades." - David LaHuta

Luxury at your doorstep. Beautiful island. Exclusive and clean. A must visit is Basil's Bar. Beware of the Beach Bar at the Cotton House resort, wear bugspray. They have these biting gnats that leave ugly bumps and they are everywhere! But the Cotton House is a must visit, the restaurant and the great room for some rum.

I mean, it's a private island. A billionaire's hideaway. Accessible only by prop plane (and small boat, natch), this is the kind of place that, if you get to go once in your lifetime, you consider yourself freakishly lucky.

Fun to stop at. Kind of curious about it since Mick Jagger, etc. Owned houses here. Little island and totally overpriced! I went to the local grocery store and saw prices about 4x higher than normal.
Nice to stop and wander the little main street and maybe grab a drink.
Locals offer tours of the homes of the rich and famous, which I declined.
They said that when these celebs are on the island they pay the taxi drivers not to give tours.
