MUTTERLAND City

I wanted to visit Mutterland, because friends have recommended me the place and it’s fame for franzbrötchen, but I was kinda surprised that I got cinnamon roll and not the classic franzbrötchen. I wouldn’t say that I was impressed by the taste. The price was a little bit high for what you get. I would give it another try next time I’m in Hamburg!

Everything was so good! Coffee, desert and woman behind the bar was so friendly, definitely one of my best experiences in Hamburg!

Interesting take on the Franzbrötchen 2.20€ - looks like cinnamon roll to me. I like the fluffy texture of the bread and the fact that it’s different. Venue is very nicely decorated, filled to the brim with many choices of tea, candies, chocolate, liquor, etc. Service is alright, no nonsense type. No dine in option but they do have a couple of outdoor seating sets.

Overall satisfied. We’ve tried different Franzbrötchen. Not a big difference, but tasty. Coffee was good as well.

Local food packed in a beautiful design. If you are looking for a gift from Hamburg, this is the perfect place. Everything is so well designed. Few things I've tried were really tasty. The only downfall are overpriced products. Which makes Mutterland a place where you shop for a gift and not regularly. Must try: jam made of apple, a unique product.

Good place to get some small unique gifts for people who like snacks or artisanal food. They also have bread and cake for takeaway. Overall a lovely small store, apart from the relatively steep prices but it makes up for it in its offering.

Mutterland is a great place and has so much stuff. Almost too much actually, since it is impossible to get around if there are a lot of people in here - and the two times that I've been here, there have always been a lot of people. I am psyched for their banana split chocolate though, plus of course everything else they have in store. But get more space, people. I would like to check out your chocolates, spreads and everything without feeling like I'm a hassle to every single person trying to get by me.

One of the best stores in Germany! Fantastic local products, excellent service a world of great products display in the best way possible. I discovered this place on one of my books and bookmarked it for my next visit to Hamburg and what a thrill. There's no way I can make a visit here and not leave without acquiring something. Kudos also for taking debit cards.

Excellent food inside an idilic little deli which is located a stones throw away from the central station. A great mixed fruit and veg juice to start the day followed by amazing eggs!!! We would highly recommend it as a stop if in Hamburg and looking for brunch.
