Muu Steakhouse

Thanks to the staff and food of this restaurant, today was the most perfect day of our honeymoon. We were so touched by their sincere welcome and kindness to us Korean couple. Thanks to them, we could see how warm and loving the city of Porto and the country of Portugal are. Of course, the food was also perfect, so it was a great time. We were so grateful for the perfect steak and side dishes, and the dessert and port wine they gave us at the end. We will cherish the photos you took with my couple as happy memories for a long time, and I sincerely thank you for the gift. I hope you always have only blessings.

Wow if I could give this place 10 stars I would!! What an experience. The decor is lush but the service is exceptional. We had a waiter with blonde hair who went above and beyond to make the evening special. The mushrooms were delicious and delicate, and the oven rice was a highlight. Flavoursome and rich intensity with every mouthful. The white chocolate was amazing but they make it in house so I couldn’t buy it sadly!

Wonderful dinner and incredible service. The steak is fantastic. The restaurant treats you with sparkling wine, very cool art, and cool, dark, sense of luxury. I wish that it lived in Porto so I could eat here regularly. The prices seem reasonable given the service and quality of the food. We felt pampered.

Our experience at Muu Steakhouse was exceptional. We started with a seafood platter, which was fresh and perfectly cooked. The highlight was the Wagyu beef from Japan, incredibly tender and flavorful, complemented by an amazing selection of wines. The service was outstanding, with knowledgeable and attentive staff who made excellent recommendations. We finished with two exceptional desserts and dessert wine, which were the perfect end to a fantastic meal. We left thoroughly satisfied and eager to return.

5.0/5.0 -We were greeted with welcome champagne while we waited for our table. -The cocktails were phenomenal and the whisky pour was very generous. -The filet was perfectly medium rare and exceeded expectations. -We were treated to a few surprises to include an extra desert. One of the best steak restaurants in any country, excellent service, and great attention to detail. Top restaurant we dined at during a week in Portugal.

What a fantastic experience. We were greeted with some sparkling wine, the staff were friendly and very attentive, and the food was impressive. I would definitely recommend to others and come back when we are next in Porto. It was my husband’s birthday and they made a fuss which was appreciated. Thank you for a wonderful, memorable evening!

There is a reason that this steakhouse has 5 stars. We arrived without a reservation, and the hostess was very accomdating and worked us in. The place is very popular, so I would not expect this everytime. So it is probably best to make a reservation. Great wine section. The waiter was super friendly and had a spectacular knowledge of the wines offered. The food was great and was served promptly. The steak was cooked perfectly and melted in your mouth. The staff genuinely cared if we enjoyed our dinner and experience. They came by at all the right times to offer the best service possible. Summary, this is the best place I have eaten at in Portugal, and very close to the best steakhouse in Europe. Highly recommend.

Wanted to go to a special dinner for our anniversary trip, and Muu did not disappoint. From start to finish, the food, service, and atmosphere were excellent. We were helped by Ruan and Dino who were attentive, kind, and made us feel so special. They gave incredible recommendations and even guided us on pairings of wines with dinner and port wines with the INCREDIBLE desserts here. I know people come here for the steaks, but PLEASE do not sleep on the desserts!! They were amazing and some of the most memorable things we ate in Porto. If we ever return to Porto, we will be coming back to Muu :)
