Muu Steakhouse

Oh MUU God! A must when in Porto. Our friends back home recommended MUU saying they have never eaten at a better place and they were not wrong. This was the best experience! We went here at the start of our trip and I am now writing a review at the end because it was that memorable. The food and background behind each dish with the flavour profiles were incredible. Igor was our server and he was so fun, knowledgeable and just happy to be there. Seeing all the employees that night on how well they connect with each of their guests was enlightening to see. After going to a couple Michelin star restaurants on our trip I cannot believe this place hasn’t been awarded one. Thank you for this experience!

Unforgettable Birthday Celebration in Porto! 🥳 Service is 10/10! ​We had an absolutely incredible experience celebrating my son's birthday at Muu Steakhouse. The service was truly exceptional, making it a standout meal in Porto. ​The Fillet Steak (€33.00) was wonderfully tender and a definite highlight – we'd recommend it for everyone! 👍 The T-bone Steak (€68.00) was decent but a bit chewier than the fillet. We also enjoyed the refreshing Sangria de Espumante (€10.00) 🍹 and the MUU Red Wine (2 glasses, €16.00 total) which paired well with our meal. ​For sides, the Arroz de Forno (Oven Rice, €7.00) and Spinach with Cheese (€7.00) were both tasty, though portions were a bit modest; consider ordering an extra side for three people. 🍚🌿 We received complimentary Couvert, Welcome Sparkling Wine 🥂, and Fritas (French Fries), which was a lovely touch. ​But the real star was the service. Our server, "Sol", and her blonde colleague were incredibly attentive, always checking on us with genuine warmth. The staff's dedication, like kneeling at eye level during payment and their surprise birthday dessert with a candle and song 🎂, made my son's birthday incredibly special and memorable. We had planned to skip dessert and do cake at home, so this surprise was a truly touching moment. 🕯️ ​The total bill came to €143.50, but the unparalleled service and overall experience made it absolutely worth it. Highly recommend for a special celebration! ✨

The first time we were here, we were truly blown away: great interior/atmosphere, super personal/friendly staff and beyond great food and wine! Not cheap, but worth every euro! We instantly decided this would be the restaurant we wanted to spend our last meal in Porto before we leave. Will definitely come back here when we return to Porto. Highly recommended!

A premium steakhouse that lives up to the hype. From the moment we walk in the experience excellent. Expert service and perfectly cooked food, right to the dessert to finish. It's a premium proce but you definitely get what you pay for. If you're visiting Porto and enjoy steak, add this to you wish list. P.S. T-bone is a must in my opinion and a great option to share with a partner.

Everything, from the ambience, to the food, the service and the wine is just marvellous! 🙏 Our service was done by Igor, who put a lot of experience and heart in it from the first minute on. His wine suggestion as a combination to the food we had was 10/10! I can absolutely recommend coming here if you visit porto! It's worth every penny! We couldn’t get a reservation at Muu, so we went to another restaurant—but had to leave due to hygiene issues. I called Muu and asked if they could do takeaway. Their supportive, solution-oriented approach was incredible. They prepared our meals right away, offered us drinks while we waited, and made us feel completely at ease. Even though it was takeaway, when we got home the food was still delicious—full of flavor, perfectly prepared, and enjoyable until the very last bite. The taste of the dishes is undeniable, but what’s even more valuable is the genuine, solution-oriented, and welcoming attitude of the team. Next time I’m in Porto, I’ll definitely make sure to dine at the restaurant itself.

Would give 6 stars if possible. This was by far the best meal we had in porto & that alone says a lot. Service was impressive & food was so delicious we had fillet & rice & potatoes. ALSO the best espresso martini ever had in our life

After living and dining out in Porto for 9 months I have to say this is (hands down) the best night-out-with-friends evening we’ve had so far. The kindness and authentic nature of the staff, the ambience, the design details, the wagyu (!!!), the wine, all the sides and starters were equally delicious and quite creatively prepared. Bravo chef and kitchen staff!! 🤩🙏🏼Even a simple burrata salad was exquisite! We absolutely can’t wait to return. 🤩🙏🏼
