Muze Lounge & Terrasse

I went here with 12 friends for my 25th birthday. I’m really grateful they were able to accommodate a large party on short notice. We had a beautiful table on the terrasse. Ambiance was exceptional - full restaurant but not too loud to impede on conversation. The staff was delightful with the exception of one waiter (not ours). I had gotten up to tell her we were finally ready to order after discussion, forgetting that she wasn’t our waiter. We were just going to take one plate of every item on the sharing menu (simple as that) so I asked if I could just tell her then and there. She was extremely rude about it, she ordered me to sit down aggressively and gave me an evil stare until I did. I didn’t mean any harm or to delay her. I don’t think she dealt with that situation professionally. Our cocktails and food were delicious. Everything tasted fresh and it was all very reasonably priced. Highly recommend for drinks and sharing menu. Have yet to come back for a meal. I’m intrigued. Thank you!

This place is truly magical, the atmosphere is beautiful, the service is warm, and the cocktails are absolutely fantastic. But I had the worst burger of my life here. Definitely not the place to come for food, but 100% worth visiting for the drinks, the vibe, and the overall experience.

Nice spot for a terrace in Montreal. The food was good and the portions were actually decent compared to what you usually get on terrasses. The oysters were on the smaller side though. The ambience was okay for a weekday.

Muze makes a great first impression, then falls flat on its face. I had high hopes as we walked through the neon purple archway into restaurant, being guided to a mostly empty area that was far enough from the DJ to have a conversation. Everything after that was bad. Service took 15 minutes to start, then another 10 minutes to come back with water. We ordered the hamburger, salmon tartare, and the cheese/charcuterie board. We didn’t finish any of the plates. The burger in particular was flavourless and bland. Skip this restaurant.

The atmosphere and the sitting is nice and probably the biggest attraction to the place. The food was average but the burger and fries were above average in my opinion. So if anything, go with the burger and nothing else.

Had an absolutely wonderful evening at Muze. The aesthetic feels upscale, while also feeling warm. The cocktail menu, which has pitcher options, was impressive, and all the drinks we ordered tasted fresh and unique. To start, we ordered the octopus, which was very light and flavourful. For dinner, we enjoyed the short rib, which was cooked perfectly and came with very tasty scalloped potatoes. The black current chocolate mousse dessert completed our meal beautifully. Beyond the food and feel, we were beyond impressed with the staff. The doorman Bob was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Our server, Blanche, was attentive and helpful, allowing us to enjoy our drinks and meal at a leisurely pace. We also met the management team, Jesse and Thierry, both of whom kindly checked on us throughout our meal, putting the heater on when it started to cool down, and ensuring we were enjoying everything. It was a great evening to kick off the summer patio season. Thank you! We will be back for sure.

I was fairly disappointed with the food, the platter for two especially at the price of 70$, I don’t think it’s worth it. The only good thing was the fries and the salad. The steak tastes like straight charcoal, the chicken is dry with no seasoning, the sausages taste like normal grocery sausages. The sauce were Tzatziki and a sweet barbecue sauce, not the kind of sauce you want for your steak. I would suggest you get the burger at this point cuz you can’t go wrong with a burger. Service was very long for a group of 15, for example : no cutleries, or tissue until after food got served, we were like 5 minutes without having anything to eat our food. We didn’t get our orders taken before 30 minutes we sat down, I expect drinks to be atleast ordered and served, some food orders were mixed, the bills at the end were mixed up, everything was just very long. It’s a very good place to take pictures, we took some in the hallway or the bathroom! Drinks were good tho and servers and staff were still nice and accommodating admits everything :)

I really wanted to love this place. I love the decor INSIDE the hotel. But the terrace itself is okay. Please add lights no one could see their menu we all had to use flashlights. Service was very slow but staff were kind and very friendly. But I couldn’t believe how slow it was. Now the food, less than mediocre rating this is food you can literally get elsewhere for cheaper. The price to quality ratio doesn’t make sense it felt like homemade quality. And the waitress kept hitting my chair when she passed behind me.
