Passing through the iron gate, opening the wooden door, and walking up the steps, the exhibition unfolds in order — from the Neolithic period of Vojvodina, through the Bronze Age and Roman period, to the Ottoman and Austro-Hungarian eras.
Weapons from different periods are displayed alongside traditional costumes and handicrafts that reflect the region’s rich multicultural heritage.
We also discovered blue-and-white ceramics from the Ottoman period. Surprisingly, they share a certain resemblance to Chinese porcelain, though the style of the cup lids is quite different, revealing distinct cultural characteristics.
The museum itself is not large, but it is clean, well-organized, and bright.
It is truly worth visiting with children — a wonderful place to learn and explore history together.
