Muzeum loutek - Museum of puppets

We visited the Museum in Český Krumlov with our family and really enjoyed the experience. The museum is located in a beautiful 14th-century historical building, where you can still see some original medieval wall paintings on the ground floor, which adds to the atmosphere. Inside, there is a wonderful collection of historical wooden puppets of many different types and themes, all beautifully displayed. A special highlight is the interactive room where visitors can try moving marionettes themselves – fun for both children and adults. At the end of our visit we had a very pleasant conversation with the museum’s owner, who personally collected all these fascinating pieces and shared his passion and knowledge with us. A charming and unique place, highly recommended!

This is a great museum. Definitely felt a presence in the attic and after chatting with the owners I learned about the ghost. The owner was nice and cute and gave me a beer for my puppet purchase!

This was such a fabulous place to visit. It really kept us entertained with all the different puppets on display. There are even some puppets on a stage that you can learn how to move them and create your own show with them in an area where children can play. The displays are absolutely amazing. Someone has gone to great lengths to put all of this together. Every which way you turn, there are puppets in every shape, size and colour. in and amongst the displays are portraits and artefacts. It really is a wonderful place, not to be missed. From the outside, it doesn't really look much, other than an ordinary shop. Don't walk by, go on in, you won't regret it. I couldn't leave Cesky Krumlov without buying a dragon puppet. There are a variety of puppets to purchase as well as it being a wine shop specialist.

Great collection of puppets! Nice owner who explained how they started the private museum. Worth the entrance ticket. Reasonable price. Entertaining for adults and kids.

Interesting and a lovely museum. Full of all kinds, all sizes puppets under different scenes. You can also try to play the puppets. It is much heavier than expected. Highly recommend!

因為門口的熱蜂蜜酒進去逛，蜂蜜酒小杯50克朗（2€），熱熱的蠻好喝的，走過路過可以試試看。 店內主要是販賣娃娃跟葡萄酒，店主很和藹也很阿莎力長得像聖誕老公公，歐元結帳直接給25的超好匯率，找錢找歐元。有地下酒窖，超酷的，自行挑選，我們盲選兩瓶當地產的紅酒分別是14€、15€。 另外買了小瓶蜂蜜酒當紀念品，也買了手工果醬，超可愛，很開心在這裡買到當地產的蜂蜜、果醬和紅白酒。 店內賣傳統娃娃，樓上有店主幾十年的收藏可參觀（購票）。
