My first visit back to Mwagusi in 20 years and it’s better than ever. The camp is extremely comfortable and the food plentiful and excellent. The owner Chris Fox on hand with great bush stories to entertain and educate as well.||Mwagusi really sets itself apart is the wildlife : in 5 days a lion kill (buffalo), an unsuccessful leopard hunt (probably happened after dark), 2 more good leopard sightings, an ostrich family with circa 15 chicks, with male showing incredible defensive and distraction skills, a pair of bat eared foxes and v young cubs, a serval, and a large python. Of course the elephants, impala, bushbuck, kudo, dikdik, hippos, various eagles plus plenty of other birds all there. So non stop highlights.||Previously have seen cheetah, wild dogs and a caracal but not there long enough to find them, but they are there as well.
