Beautiful lodge overlooking|Lake George and Lake Edward. Staff is very friendly and receptive to all your needs.. the food was delicious Farm table.|So many places to sit and enjoy the views . |Nightly entertainment on the weekends . I would definitely recommend you take the cruise and see a wide variety of animals coming to drink water and playing in the water.. great place for the family.

One of top places in Uganda. In the middle of nowhere (national park) you spotted amazing resort between wildlife. Beautiful view on lake with hippos 🦛, crocodiles 🐊, buffalos 🦬 and elephants 🐘 . Of course nature experience depends on her will to show you animals. But we loved such a hotel inside bush and wildlife.

Always a firm favourite of mine and this trip was no exception. Estate agents say the three governing criteria for property is 'location, location and location' and this is self evident here. Located on a small peninsular overlooking Lake Edward and the Kazinga channel with distant views to the Rwenzoris this is virtually unbeatable.|The main facilities are contained in a large building with Bar/Restaurant (inside and outside) and swimming pool.|The rooms are in garden like settings with a few more separate and private. I have used the standard rooms several times until I 'discovered ' the classic tents' set on the cliff edge with views over the channel to where much wildlife can be watched from the comfort of your porch. These tents are very spacious with large beds, seating , dressing area and bathroom with H&C water. They have Wi Fi and a fan plus tea making facilities and a small fridge. You do need an escort after dark as the grounds are not fenced and wildlife is commonly seen. Mainly the local Warthogs and Banded Mongoose families but large more dangerous animals can also occur from time to time. Quite safe with your escort who will safely deliver you to your tent after dinner. (and come for you in the morning if you should be lucky enough to be hosting some buffalo on your lawn as I was.) These are not domestic cattle but dangerous wild animals and not to be treated carelessly.|Food and staff are all well managed and excellent. I have never had cause for complaint. Laundry is available at reasonable prices.|The lodge is located just above the dock where launches leave for the famous 'Kazinga' cruise. It beats me why folks stay outside the park gates some 20km away when this is where they need to be. |Already planning a return.

This is a spectacular hotel on a beautiful location. The staff were all very professional and hospitable and kind. The view is magnificent on the lake . It felt surreal and yhe boat trip was so amazing with hundreds of hippos elephants and wildebeest and crocodiles. It felt almost heavenly. The tour guides were very pleasant and attentive and informative and professional. I cannot rate this place more highly. The food was great and the decor of the hotel is beautiful.

The lodge has a stunning location overlooking Kazinga channel. Animals can be sighted while having your meals across the channel.

Really dated old lodge…no drinking water served in the restaurant or room - there’s free tea and coffee but no drinking water ….don’s stay here as there are many other lodges in the area - this is one is crappy! Owned by the same group as Paraa lodge in Murchison which is equally bad

This was a beautiful lodge right on the Kazinga Channel in Queen Elizabeth National Park. In fact, Queen Elizabeth herself stayed here 2 times in a separate building on the property. The place had a great view with mongooses and warthogs right on the property. You might want to bring binoculars to look at the elephants and hippos across the channel. There were gorgeous sunrises here. The food was amazing- huge buffet with soups, salads, breads, desserts and lots of choice of entrees. They had live music and dancing both nights we were here. We also enjoyed the pool and I had a fantastic massage at a very reasonable price. In the evenings and during the day if you want, they drive you in the golf cart in case there is any wildlife around. The staff was very friendly and they have a small gift shop.
