Wah, just wanted to share my awesome experience at this cafe with everyone! 🎉 We celebrated Christmas Eve dinner with the family and were lucky to be served by the super friendly and helpful Franck and Bong 😊. From the moment we walked in, they made us feel like family. They went above and beyond to accommodate my dad's needs - fetching a comfy chair and even helping to cut the food into smaller pieces. It was heartwarming to see such thoughtful service 💕. Now, the food? OMG, it was TOO GOOD 🤤! We had the pozza with Parma ham, prawn turmeric and ginger (Bong's mum's recipe, btw 😋), quesadilla duck confit, crackling pochetta, and lemak curry prawn dip with deep-fried mantou. Everything was SO DELICIOUS! The duck confit was a game-changer, and the Parma ham pozza with crispy potatoes was a hit 😍. Huge shoutout to Franck, Jimmy, Kumar, and Bong for making our Christmas Eve dinner so special. If you're looking for a place with awesome service and mouth-watering food, look no further! We'll be back, for sure 😊. 5 stars isn't enough - I'd give it 10 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!"

I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Awesome Cafe, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience! The moment we stepped in, we were greeted with warm smiles by Gretchen and Debbie, who provided impeccable service throughout our meal. But what truly stole the show was the incredible food! We ordered a variety of dishes, each one more impressive than the last. The AwesomeBiotics mocktail was a refreshing masterpiece, bursting with citrus flavors and infused with 12 billion probiotics. Not only was it delicious, but it also came with a host of health benefits, from boosting digestion to supporting immune health. Next up was the Herbalicious smoothie, which was inspired by Traditional Chinese Medicine. This potent blend of herbs, fruits, and coconut water was both energizing and revitalizing, leaving us feeling invigorated and focused. For our main course, we indulged in the Slow-Cooked Rendang Mushroom, which was cooked to perfection and served with a delightful Sundried Tomato Pesto, Raw Onion, and Crispy Shallots. The flavors were rich and aromatic, and the texture was sublime. We also tried the Pozza, a game-changing, thinly hand-sliced potato "dough" base topped with our favorite ingredients. The combination of creamy cheese, crispy crust, and flavorful toppings was absolute perfection! 😋 As a bonus, Gretchen and Debbie treated us to a sample of the Yogic "Chicken" Shiitake, which was surprisingly good! The combination of flavors and textures was both innovative and delicious. I also received 2 Awesome tattoos from them 😍 In short, our experience at The Awesome Cafe was nothing short of exceptional. With its unique blend of wellness-focused cuisine, impeccable service, and cozy atmosphere, this cafe is a must-visit for anyone seeking a truly unforgettable dining experience.

We stumbled in to My Awesome Cafe in Singapore's Chinatown because the fun vibe caught our eyes immediately (even the name on the outside of the building titles it the Chung Hwa Free Clinic)... and then we found out they have a gluten-free menu! Such a fun surprise! Awesome service, so much to look at, friendly customers, and unique-fun food. We ordered the Crackling Porchetta (with a side of several proseccos because I was having so much fun)... A roulade of crunchy pork stuffed with an addictive pineapple chimichurri and served with truffle mushrooms, a refreshing apple-sesame salad, and a couple of hard taco shells. Not really sure what the taco shells were there for as this wasn't really a make-your-own-taco type plate. I was also eyeing up their "OH-MY-BRIOCHE" creations including French Duck Confit, Spicy Thai Beef, Herby Pulled Beef and more on hand-shaped gluten-free brioche buns as well as the Pozzas (think pizza with a crust of sliced potatoes). For sure, we will be back to try them all!

Interior is a curated karang guni feast for the eyes in a good way. Chill, busy, great to makan with friends and catch up. Many menu items are designed for sharing, and all good. They do Asian fusion well without going pretentious. Pictures of the food tell the story. Very helpful and patient wait persons who helped navigate the intriguingly complex menu. Thanks people, you guys are, as you say, awesome!

The food was decent—not exceptional, but enjoyable. Best to visit during off-peak hours to avoid long waits and noisy crowd. Prices are a bit steep, likely due to the central location. The staff were friendly and created a welcoming atmosphere. The interior décor is stylish and very Instagrammable—great spot if you're into food photography.

A truly Awesome Experience at Awesome cafe run by Awesome Frank and Awesome Bong. I was transported back in time with the vintage collections which goes back to Japanese occupation time. At that time it was a free hospital and doctors flew from China. At that time in history there were serving medications for free for the sick and injured. Now its food for soul and service from heart. I truly enjoyed the ambience, their service and i was blown away with my Vegetarain menu. It was so nicely marinated mushrooms with natural flavours and real French Authentic Butter and Bread which was flown from France. I feel food at Awesome Cafe was better than food in France. (Sorry France. Its true) Because here we have with Asian twist served with Fresh and the most delicious Ginger Drink. Every inch of wall, floor , items, deco all are unique to this place. Be prepared to spend a long time if you wish to be teleported to 100 years back. If you are food lover or a historian or a vintage appreciator, this place has everything for you. I am definitely going back again and going to bring all my overseas friends for good food, good service and super delicious 😋 and yummy food for both Vegetarians and Non Vegetarians. Just Love it.

Google
My awesome cafe doesn't have a signboard! Social media referrals only, apparently. Indeed, it seems made for that, with a historical exterior and antiquated vintage interior decorations. Sat by the window on counter seats, saw a few tourists wavering in curiosity at what seemed like an antiques museum, who hesitated and ultimately decided against entering. But the 'hidden gem' vibe is certainly going very well for it, as per their thriving customer base. The 'my awesome' line was quirky yet modern, a subtle private joke that you don't get as a first timer. Loved the probiotics line and health emphasis. Omg the awesomebiotics had a STRONG ginger taste. Mix well before drinking! I know that 'pozza', or the idea of pizza with crust substituted with potato slices isn't exactly 100% original (nothing is new under the sun?), but I think its quite original in this context. Very tasty, would suggest that patrons add at least one extra topping to get the bang for their buck for this awesome item. Extremely oily though, clearly aimed at the drinking crowd. Would like there to be more veggies on it - a generous dollop of rocket for instance, or maybe more vegetables before nightfall? Haha, not sure about that, but still heavily recommend this item. The Crackling Prochetta was also both inspired by, and a clear improvement over German Pork-Knuckle. There was a very Asian Chinese roast pork twist to it, with additional salt and spices, and relish on it. Could have used quite a lot more relish however. Have privately thought this in my head, that local fusion would clearly elevate both the Eastern and Western versions of this dish. Turns out, that wasn't an original thought, and these guys got there first. Best idea 10/10 Good service, great food, and catering to your phone's phantom hunger pangs transmitted via socials. Would come again.

Yelp
This is a really great cafe/ restaurant in Telok AyerThe food here is delicious but kind of pricey. However they do give decently large portion sizes so that makes up for it. I shared the bruschetta board with all three kinds on there. They really loaded on the lox and other toppings. I ordered their watermelon orange juice and while it was nice I probably wouldn't order it again. The Amoy food center is just around the corner and has the same drink for a fraction of the cost. They do have self serve water which was nice and cool. It really helped to combat the hot weather. My friend ordered the idea bulb which was super cute and really went well with the decor. It was expensive but you can keep the bulb as a souvenir. They do have an extensive menu that ranges from bruschetta to protein shakes and a full bar so make sure you take a thorough look at everything. The inside looks as if a hoarder decorated it but in a very chic retro way. I loved the clusters of interns and lights hanging from the ceiling. We ended up sharing a long table with another group but it was completely comfortable. The tables were a little too close to each other but they do have storage space underneath each table so that bags don't block the way. It was really busy here during the lunch rush but after 12:45 it started clearing up.

Yelp
What an adorable cafe/bar. Stumbled upon this while walking about Chinatown. Friendly staff, creative drinks. You get to keep the idea bulb when you order the Drinkable Idea, which has coconut water, some sort of jelly(?) and goji berries. They also first place the drink on top of a light making it super fun! The place is retro and funky and used to be a clinic, of which they've kept the original signs in Chinese as the storefront.
google avatar

Sudipto G.

Yelp
Excellent cafe in the Telok Ayer area. It's hard to spot as there is no sign but look for a buddy place with staff wearing awesome TShirts and you will know you have arrived. I've had the my awesome salad and sandwich and both are amazing. Also have tried the upside down cake which was delicious too. Will be back to try more stuff.
google avatar

Carolyn V.

Yelp
The Good: :: it's a local business :: great ambiance. very casual and fun without being obnoxiously, overly trendy. love it that they kept the original outside clinic markings and signage! :: service is friendly, fast, and efficient :: lots of seating. i recommend, though, that you sit closest to the street to allow you for some fun people-watching :: they take multiple forms of payment :: food is very very delicious and healthy. i can't recommend the smoked duck breast enough! perfectly done, so tender, and so flavorful. if duck isn't your thing, they have plenty of other offerings that will satisfy your palette. :: cannot recommend enough any of their fresh-squeezed juices. the watermelon juice, for example, is extremely refreshing and has no added sugar. my personal favorite! The Bad: :: none The Ugly: :: none Would I go back? Most certainly yes! It's now one of my go-to's while I'm out here in Singapore. This place is IN.

Yelp
This is a great casual bar-cafe/restaurant near the Telok Ayer MRT station. Two friends/coworkers and I stopped by here for an afternoon beer and snack. Despite a robust food, beverage and dessert menu, the beer selection was limited, and we didn't try the food. However, the staff and service were amazingly fun and friendly. The entire cafe has a positive fun energy. Perhaps it's the name, the decorative interior (with the paper mache balloon, antique Chinese herbal medicine cabinets, fun signage, etc), the outdoor seating, or the friendly staff but whatever the magic, My Awesome Cafe is an awesome place to check out.

Yelp
This is one of our favorite lunch places. Great atmosphere, great good. Friendly service. Always busy. We had the awesome sandwich, which is like a tasting platter af smaller sandwiches. Highly recommend. The vegeterian awesome salad was very good. We had the drinkable idea. We are not a huge fan of coconut water but you get to keep the the light bulb. Go here. You won't be disappointed.
google avatar

Yelp
Laid back spot to chat with friends or just people watch. You can get a nice ice cream and espresso for $7, which isn't too bad considering the neighborhood!

Yelp
If your in the CBD looking for some breakfast or brunch it's well worth the visit. Tasty western/local fare in a quaint setting. Friendly customer service at pretty affordable prices!
google avatar

Yvette O.

Yelp
There are many awesome things to point out, from the excellent customer service to the fresh, delicious dishes. We tried the awesome breakfast, and awesome sandwich, and both were equally yummy and satisfying! Freshly squeezed juices and coffees were also on point! By day it's a cool cafe inside an old Chinese medical hall, and by night it becomes a chilled bar with reasonably priced drinks (by sgp standards anyway) I see why they have regulars coming back!
google avatar

Eddy X.

Yelp
This cafe is very cool! Food is better than I expected, My Awesome Salad is very impressive, delicious indeed! Beef burger is also good, large portion, full of cheese. Juice is better than coffee. Decor and the service are also nice! Will definitely come back again!

Yelp
I just realised the existence of My Awesome Cafe 5 mins from my office a few days ago and decided to give it a try today. Was not really expecting a lot because of its name but well.. it's pretty good and I really enjoyed the food there. After eating a lot of crap this week (think sichuan food, Korean Fried Chicken) my body was screaming for a salad so I ordered the Awesome Vegetarian Salad. Basically it's a platter of greens, tomatoes, grilled red bell pepper, avocado, boiled egg in a light vinaigrette dressing. Everything no the plate was perfect and just the way I like them to be, very very fresh. Oh and you get to top it with a few pieces of brie or goat cheese. The pesto on the slice of bread that came with the salad was also super yummy! We also ordered the acai, healthy super food dessert alternative, it's basically acai berries beaten and blended into a sorbet like texture, refreshing and delicious. The price is not cheap but is completely justifiable by the high quality of the ingredients. I will definitely go back to check out their other offerings like their sandwiches and shakes. The place gets filled up pretty quickly during lunch time so get there early. Some nice outdoor roadside seats where u can enjoy your food while people watching. The decor is pretty interesting too as it occupies the former site of the Chung Hwa Clinic and they have retained the sign. Inside the vibe is undoubtedly industrial. Although it actually makes the places looks less genuine (thanks to all the fake heritage stuff around the shophouse area) and lowered my expectations for the food. But i guess don't judge a book by its cover?
google avatar

Amanda C.

Yelp
Atmosphere is pretty cool with a good vibe. I was there after work hours and definitely pretty chill and lots of expats just hanging out. Good beer and drink selection and the food was okay and not bad. I do appreciate their salads which are a decent size and have a whole half avocado which is pretty good. Duck confit roulettes was okay. Chicken lasagna was ground chicken and a lot of cheese. Still decent though. Service was okay but could've been improved since it seemed like the waitress was very frazzled because it was a little busy and didn't seem very attentive. Tip: make reservations if you're looking for a larger party size Tip 2: you can grab your own water cups

Yelp
My Awesome Café is so awesome, how can we not be one of the first to review this awesome café? Ok, jokes aside, the Chinese-y shopfront might fool passer-bys into thinking that it is a Chinese medicinal shop. Upon closer inspection, it is anything but. Expertly placed assorted knick-knacks and lit with rainbow-coloured lantern lamps, My Awesome Café's eclectic factor ranks high. Food-wise, the Chicken Lasagna didn't quite hit the spot as the portion was a tad too small. Try the Organic Watermelon Juice for a refreshing drink or the Awesome Coconut Ice Cream - great for cooling down in Singapore's hot weather. Choose from a couple of square tables or opt for a high table-top to do your work. Almost every table has a power socket close by and their Wi-Fi signal is pretty strong. Our planned 2 hour stint turned into a 5 hour affair! It can get pretty quiet on a Sunday night, given that the surrounding areas are office buildings, but hey we are not complaining! A great spot for work or for a chill night out with buddies.

Yelp
I held a surprise birthday party for my boyfriend here at My Awesome Cafe, and can I just say, it's truly AWESOME! The service from everyone, including one of the 3 owners, Frank, was impeccable. In fact, during the process of rushing to do up the decorations, he was even more of a perfectionist than I was. He truly deserves the title of the coolest person voted by STB. The experience that this cafe brought to all of us was out of this world, hugely different from other cafes my boyfriend and I have been to. Emails were replied almost instantaneously, my never-ending requests were made possible because of Frank's accommodative spirit, 90% of the decorations were all put up by Frank without even me requesting. It's this kind of cafe that brings about true competitiveness into this line of business. Owners who pride their cafe to utmost level of service deliverance, more than dollar terms. It was a cafe that I felt like I was family to.

Yelp
My new favorite spot for an awesome salad, it has Duck Rillettes, smoked Salmon and herb chicken on fresh greens. Authentic French cafe!! The owner Franck cane around checked on us and treated us to a complimentary piece of cake as a treat. They have free wifi so I finished some work over an iced Latte. It doesn't get much better, I will be back weekly!
google avatar

Emilie A.

Yelp
I had what was probably the greatest salad ever here. My Awesome Salad is packed with proteins (smoked salmon, chicken, ham) and it comes with half an avocado and a bread with pesto. It was so good because it had everything I love on a salad (meat)! The price would be a bit steep for a salad, but since it has that much meat on it I was willing to pay the price. I went on a Sunday evening and it wasn't crowded at all and I didn't feel too awkward because there were other solo diners there besides me. It's a nice casual spot to get something good to eat.
google avatar

Jomar E.

Yelp
I guess three times is the charm. My two previous visits were two to forget, but the place is outside my front door and one of few in the neighbourhood open on Sundays; out of convenience Ihad to give it one more try. Service was prompt and the food was good. The ambiance is excellent and the popularity of the place, and the fact that it was in a startup phase, might have something to do with my previous poor experiences of the place. The proprietor seems to have managed to get a stable and properly trained staff. I'll be back again.
google avatar

Sally S.

Yelp
Great healthy food with wifi. Loved the $6.50 yogurt bowl with frozen or fresh fruit. Add honey for some extra sweetness!

Michaela S.

Yelp
Good Food. Heavenly and healthy. Honestly one of the best salads I ever had! And the coffee is so cute and beautiful.
google avatar

Scott R.

Yelp
Very much a regular here for a couple of reasons Firstly the service is excellent, no matter how busy the guys/girls are there to help Secondly the bottles of wine and platters are great value for an evening of good conversation, great atmosphere, great quality and great price. Vodka Cocktails as the night kicks on are wicked. Lunches are good too but I do find them a touch on the higher side for good value. Still excellent quality but a not as good a value which is the only reason I am deducting half a star. 4.5 stars - highly recommend
google avatar

James L.

Yelp
I had an amazing chicken lasagna followed by a pineapple turnover and accompanied by melon juice. The service was great and the vibe very relaxed. I would highly recommend this place.
google avatar

Christian C.

Yelp
Not so awesome experience for me and my friend. In fact it was awful. Their menu is ridiculously complicated, it's almost as if you'd have to solve a puzzle to get a meal, but not even a fun one because the food was terrible. My friend got a cold salad instead of the sandwich form he asked for. When he asked the waiter to change it, their suggestion was to put the salad inside some bread and call it a day! My acai icecream tasted like dirt. The beer was ok but I had better. What was worse, when we asked for the manager, he came and didn't even know what was in the menu. I'm surprised people come here, it's a hot mess.

Joey C.

Yelp
Had awesome salad, beast brioches burgers and a wrap. Food is good and yummy, however it is quite pricey. The cafe is very small and squeezy, (DEFINITELY AVOID LUNCH HOURS especially on a weekday). Pretty friendly service.
google avatar

Rey V.

Yelp
Nothing beats a good ol' fashion American burger...with the exception of the duck confít burger. Visiting from the US and I had no clue what to choose. The staff was super helpful and easily helped me decide from drink to meal. Glad I made the decision to stop and eat here. Great staff! Great food! Great ambience! Even grabbed a t-shirt and magnet as a souvenir of Singapore
google avatar

Steffi C.

Yelp
Had walked past this place a few times and read about it online but had never had the chance to visit. Actually, my first thought when I heard about this place was "what a corny name for a cafe". The Chinese name is a literal translation, which doesn't really help... But maybe they are trying to be ironic in a hipster way that I'll never understand? But corny name aside, the food was good, so I shan't harp on it. We had the My Awesome Salad and the Parma Ham Sandwich (with brie added on). I loved the sandwich, the bread was soft and warm, yet crispy on the sides. They were generous with their ingredients and it was very tasty. Same for the salad, it came with a large serving of smoked salmon, roasted chicken and tuna mayonnaise. My only gripe was that the avocado was a bit raw. We were here after spin class down the road so it was a good thing that their food portions were huge- we were starving! It was a good deal and really unexpected as each dish is only about $15-20 on average. Decor is... Interesting. Red paper lanterns galore, high stools made of pipes, desks turned into dining tables. The air conditioning (either that or the very powerful fans) was adequate, but just barely. SUMMARY: quirky decor, very good bread, portions are huge for the price ($15-20). Would visit again!
google avatar

Tommy W.

Yelp
Okay, I love the bread here so much I'm writing this review as I chow down. This place just opened last week and they bake their own bread fresh every day!! My chicken breast sandwich was as fresh as can be, tasty, and very reasonably priced. Besides their soft breads, this place has damn good service. Just getting one of these two things at a cafe is rare in Singapore, so having both in the same place makes this place truly AWESOME.
google avatar

Natalie H.

Yelp
Came here on a Monday night, and this place was bathed in red light, from the red lanterns on top. Felt like I was in a bad Hong Kong movie circa 1980s. So, the food. I didn't have any drinks 'cept water here. I had an Awesome vegetarian salad, which wasn't super awesome in terms of taste, but awesome in terms of size. It was HUGE! On a bed of mesclun greens, was half an avocado, a boiled egg, some grilled eggplant (which they substituted my hated bell peppers out with), tomatoes, and brie cheese. I found the salad impossible to eat alone, and my companion had to help me out. The salad was also bathed in a very oily dressing, which I quickly tired of. After my very huge salad, I wanted something sweet, so bread and butter pudding it was. Nothing to shout about, 3/5. I did like the ambience here, with the remodelled school desks, retro yet industrial feel, but the red lights.have.got.to.stop.

Yelp
The passion of several entrepreneurs, who has worked in various sectors including F&B, advertising, hotels and even in fitness lead to the formation of an industrial-chic cafe called My Awesome Cafe. Most of them, including the owner Franck Hardy, has brought their expertise in working in restaurants, cafés and hotels over (and yes some even worked in Michelin-star restaurants / cafés before!). Located below the creative agency Mangham Gaxiola, it occupies the what previously is Chung Hwa Free Clinic and specializes in all-day breakfast, salads, sandwiches, coffees, teas, beers and liquor. They are also the only place in Singapore to sell Mexican Coca-Cola for the long term (read: Coca-Cola with Cane Sugar! The first being Omakase Burger but was only available for a limited time) The food menu is rather diverse! And the drinks menu! (they have Mexican Coca-Cola here!) The Croissant with Scrambled Eggs and Smoked Salmon ($8++) is easily one of the better tasting breakfast food out there. The croissant is filled with strips of cheese and the smoked salmon, which was smoked to the right texture and taste. The scrambled eggs, however, tasted slightly more like an omelette instead but still maintains its moist texture. The coffee served here are blends made from Columbian, Brazilian and Sumatran beans. The Latte ($4.50++) is full bodied and maintains the strong taste of the roasting process. Anyone who does not like bitterness may not like this even as the right amount of milk is added into the coffee. In overall, this place will surely attract the crowds with their passion and patriotism to the food and service served here. If you are around the CBD / Tanjong Pagar / Telok Ayer area, why not pop by this place? I know I would, and will try the Mexican Coca-Cola the next time round!

Audra W.

Yelp
So many wonderful options on the menu! Really enjoyed the salad with avocado, almonds, salmon and capers. Everything is really fresh, healthy and delicious. Excited to come back and try something else before I leave Singapore!

Yelp
I like this place. It definitely has its kinks to be worked out - every single [3] visit something on mine or my friends' orders has been wrong. But when pointed out the issue is always quickly resolved. People make mistakes - it's all in how you handle them, I say. The salads are great for lunch or a light dinner, though on the pricey side ($15++, addt'l $3 for cheese on the My Awesome Salad making it $18++). Still tasty enough for me to order the salad on every visit, I just can't make this a regular weekly stop for lunch. The happy hour specials are good for the CBD in my opinion (somewhere ~$35 for a bottle of wine, if memory serves, and something for beer and bubbly too). I wish you didn't have to queue up by the kitchen in order to pay at the end, as I feel massively in the way of the staff running back and forth with dishes of food which I could knock into. Not sure I can think of a more efficient process given the layout (and it does cut down on the time to pay as there's no need to flag down a server to get your bill) - just something for the cafe to consider.
google avatar

Neil P.

Yelp
Worse food I have eaten at a restaurant in Singapore. We had a Salmon wrap with canned Salmon and copious amounts of bland cheese, and a Vegetarian wrap with copious amounts of bland cheese and little else. In addition, we had two drinks we didn't have added to the bill. When I returned after my wife realized that we had been overcharged, the cashier told me we were wasting his time cause we didn't check the bill earlier, and now he had to spend 3 minutes fixing it. Will never return to this place. So many other great restaurants in Singapore to support.
google avatar

Kai C.

Yelp
Environment is nice, service is also good; meanwhile foods can not reach my expectations.
google avatar

Matthew P.

Yelp
This place has cool lights and figurines resembling Ultraman. That's about it. Their sandwiches for lunch are bland, at 13 a pop -- stingy with meat or salmon and are dry. Drinks are overpriced. They price a $5 can of boddington ale from coldstorage at $18. They forgot orders. Same experience as prior reviewer that the proprietor does a good job but the other waiters were a disaster. They could do so much better if they improved the food quality, expanded the menu, added better beers and wines to their selection, and dropped their current crop of waiters. 2 out of 5 for food, 4 out of 5 for atmosphere, 1 for service.
google avatar

Reyna J.

Yelp
Reasonable price for every menu even though this is located in CBD. My favorite is spicy beef awesome salad. Salad menu is very generous portion and very fresh. I became a regular customer as the quality of the food is always maintained and all the ingredients seem very fresh.
google avatar

Yelp
Ordered a croissant + scrambled eggs + ham & cheese. Partner had the same with smoked salmon. So bad. Scrambled eggs were so watery that it made the croissant soggy... Will not be returning

Yelp
Not to sure if it could be considered value for money apart from the cute decor. The food quality is decent but nothing to rave about. Service is good and friendly.

Yelp
To say MAC lives up to its name of being Awesome is a complete injustice! MAC ticks all the boxes, surpassing expectations and delighting me every single time i visit. I am literally sent back out into the world with newfound positivity and a happy tummy! (i am not even exaggerating) This weekend i held my boyfriend's 23rd surprise here, and it was PERFECT. From helping to hide his friends and family, to taking out toys and books to entertain the kiddies, to lighting up the cake with sparklers and singing Happy Birthday, this café made everyone feel welcome and at home (and he was VERY surprised)!! :-):-) The food is also out of this world (do yourself a favor and try their PESTO!!), everyone was going CRAZY over the platters. The atmosphere was full of positive energy, where the staff and especially owner and brainchild Franck constantly checked in on us. THANK YOU MAC TEAM FOR AN AWESOME EXPERIENCE!! Definitely my favourite café in Singapore!

Yelp
Went to My Awesome Cafe with my BFF on our monthly cafe hopping trip. Was abit disappointed by their food and drink selections. The people were really nice though. Made a good recommendation for the food and manage to cater to our request of no breast meat. We ordered My Awesome Salad and My Awesome Sandwich to share. The serving was really huge for 2 ladies!! It was really worth every penny we spent. I really like the interior deco of this cafe. Will be back again if I am in Telok Ayer area to try the desserts.

Yelp
Amazing cafe!! The staff was great, super accommodating for a vegan and the frozen acai was delicious

Yelp
Good lasagna, meatballs and salad. The cheese plate was a big disappointment though. Lots of bread but not much else. Great atmosphere though. Food 3*, atmosphere 5*.

Yelp
A non-pretentious place with good quality food! I enjoy their lasagne the most. If you like a meaty salad, this is the place to go! Really love the deco and the atmosphere.

Yelp
A phenomenal Telok Ayer Neighborhood Cafe where the food is fresh, healthy, and excellent. Frank, the managing owner, is always around to great customers with his warm and sincere demeanor. Places like this are rare and special.

Yelp
I was on my way to Chinatown and needed food and to escape some pending rain so I stopped in. I thought the food was a little bit expensive, but it was a great lunch. The meal had a very light European feel to it. I had the ham sandwich which was served open face on baguette with a piece of very good ham on each slice of bread. The side salad was very nice and the yogurt & granola with pin alp slices seemed odd, but really was a nice side / ending to the meal. I had a great cup of tea as well. If I would have realized how close I was to Chinatown, I might have passed this place up for some cheaper fare, but I'm glad that I didn't.

Yelp
The food was 3 out of 5. We went for breakfast and the the options were very limited. Toast with cheese and bacon was tasty. Unfortunately the service was brutal. It wasn't very busy, maybe 50% full. Took forever to order, they forgot to bring out entire our order and brought the bill before complete meal was brought to us. The server dropped food off at the table and bolted, couldn't ask her for anything. Such a bummer because it is a cute spot.
