Amazing company to work with!! We rented cold weather clothing for our vacation and they made it easy and convenient! Clothes were dropped off at our hotel when we arrived and picked up after we left. I highly recommend My Backyard Tours! It’s nice to not have to have an entire suitcase just for cord weather gear!

Jordan and Stacie were great. They coordinated clothing rental and dog sledding for my family. They even called to confirm they had everything right. They made the trip an absolute success. I highly recommend them for personal service versus the larger tour companies.

They literally got my family booked in with a moments notice which was super nice. Everything was coordinated well. Helicopter flight was amazing. The city tour was also amazing, the tour guide was great with telling us about the history and the way she did it was like a friend was showing us around town not your basic tour guide experience. Definitely would recommend.

Rented winter clothing and booked a city tour with them. Clothes were delivered promptly to our hotel and were very warm. They were able to last minute book us for a city tour. It was very informative and interesting. I would definitely recommend booking through them.

We rented winter clothing from backyard and we're very happy about it. The clothes were super warm and turned out absolutely essential for our short trip in Yellowknife. Plus, we were given maps and lots of free advice on where the best spots to find the Aurora are located. Definitely recommend and will call them when back in Yellowknife!

Took my son to Yellowknife for his 15th birthday and we had the absolute pleasure of starting off our trip with a tour from my backyard. They took us to all the historical sites and had a wealth of knowledge, and made sure to ask what we were interested in seeing and adjust the tour accordingly! Had some delicious homemade cookies and wonderful homemade Tea as well! Unfortunately it was not a great night to see the Aurora but they called well in advance and let us know which was so appreciated! Great tour, amazing tour guides, thank you so much!! Yellowknife is amazing!

Amazing City + Helicopter tour, we had a blast and had an amazing view of Yellowknife!

We can highly recommend My Backyard tours! My husband and I rented winter clothing from them for our 5 day stay in Yellowknife. Insulated snow boots, an incredibly warm Canada goose parka, a balaclava, hat and insulated snow pants and insulated gloves/mittens were waiting for us when we arrived at our hotel. When we had a fit issue, Amanda came to our hotel and replaced it making sure we had the right fit to enjoy our stay in the -30 degree weather! We also want to say what a spectacular City Tour we had with Backyard Tours. Mary was a wonderful guide for the 2 hour tour. She gave us history and background on Yellowknife that developed a deep appreciation, as we drove around in an suv seeing Old Town, Downtown, Slave Lake and other points of interest. She even gave us some great recommendations as to places we would want to spend more time. . My husband and I thought it was a high point and a great way to get oriented to the city! Thank you Margaret, Mary and Amanda for assuring we had a wonderful stay in Yellowknife and keeping these Southern Californians warm!!
