My Coffee Porto

A must-visit cafe if you want both great views of the Douro River on the top of a staircase, and local Portuguese cafe experience. I love the fact that the cafe is very clean, down to earth and unlike the tourist, fancy restaurants and cafes near the river. It is like local home experience, love it! I came at 9am on a cloudy day, there weren’t many people yet so I was enjoying my quiet moment. The latte and tart was delicious, the barrister was putting his heart and soul in it. The server was extremely friendly and brightened up everyone’s morning. Highly recommended this local gem!

Lovely café with great coffee and a beautiful view. We ordered flat whites along with an açai bowl and a breakfast plate. Everything was fresh, tasty, and nicely presented. There were plenty of healthy options and good bread choices for breakfast. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. Highly recommended for a relaxing start to the day.

I actually enjoyed this cafe the most. Not for the views but for the great simple foods that they made taste so good. The coffee beats many others. The simple peanut toast is super. The açai was better than others too.

The place was outstanding, the views are beautiful, the staff is welcoming, attentive and smiling always. The brunch’s price is good according to the price and they took very little to bring us the food even though the terrace was full. Really recommend this place if it’s sunny!!!!

Great coffee! Great view! It’s a pretty busy coffee shop so be prepared to wait (depending what time you visit), particularly if you want a table outside - of which there are only 3 or 4. We waited around 10 minutes, but could have been seated sooner if we had been prepared to sit inside. Had to wait a few minutes for the coffee but the quality made it worthwhile. Bit of a climb if you are coming up from the river but worth it.

Fantastic spot to enjoy a coffee. We had some of the best cappuccinos, along with tasty sandwiches in the sun. The view is lovely and the service is great, if you can find a seat, because it is not a lot of them and they fill up fast.

The best place to enjoy coffee in the morning with the best view!! Please try coffee with two shots! Awesome!! Staffs are very kind as well! I definitely suggest it!

Cute little cafe with delicious fruit bowls, coffee and a beautiful view of the city 🤩 We really enjoyed our stay and we were lucky to get the table with the best view. Make sure to come early to get a seat because it is extremely small.
