Before you enter the shop you can smell the pleasant aroma of milk tea. This place serves the pinnacle of HK milk tea where every sip tastes and smells good. Shop is quite cramped which is suitable for small groups of 2. You’ll need to order and pay before it is served. Place can be quite dark as it is not well lighted coupled with black walls. Food is good and tasty and sells really good bo luo bun. Recommend their tea. Its good. Everyone comes here to order their tea. Overall, great cup of milk tea.

Their menu leans heavily into nostalgic cha chaan teng favorites, but with a variety that keeps things interesting. The egg sandwiches are a highlight, especially the satay egg sandwich. The satay adds a savory, slightly spicy depth that elevates the soft, fluffy eggs, making it more than just a simple breakfast bite. It’s hearty, flavorful, and one of the standout items worth returning for. Equally delightful are their crispy buns, which come in several variations. The peanut butter bun is indulgent, with a crunchy exterior giving way to warm, gooey peanut butter inside—a perfect balance of texture and flavor. It’s the kind of treat that feels both nostalgic and inventive. The tomato soup noodles, while comforting, could benefit from a richer tomato base. For an egg addict like me this place is perfection. I had the sweet bo lo bao (similar to a brioche bun) with the salted duck and scrambled eggs. It was REALLY good. Abbas isn't into eggs so he had the fish tofu noodles which was not great. But that's expected from places that aren't halal. We also tried the hot classic tea with condensed milk and the iced classic tea. Both were good, neither too sweet. Strong tea flavour, and nicely creamy from the evaporated milk.

Great lunch at my cup of tea. We ordered 2 beef and scrambled eggs bun with milk tea. Seating is not very comfortable but efficient, with tall stools against a wall, service is quick, after ordering and paying with octopus or cash (no card, be ready to turn around and head to the ATM). The pineapple bun was nice and warm, fresh and top was crunchy, the eggs were perfectly cooked and the beef was nice as well,. texture wise.

We waited maybe less than 10 minutes for a table. We got to sit at the bar. We ordered a cold milk tea and a hot milk tea. We also got a char siu macaroni soup and a minced beef sandwich. Both were pretty standard. The cold milk tea is better than the hot milk tea. Would get it again as it wasn't too expensive

food was okay, the yummier ones were truffle egg sandwich and the pork chop tomato macaroni, yuen yang was not bad too, wouldn’t say its a must-try when in HK but if you’re nearby and looking for somewhere to eat, its not bad! be mindful that the store is very narrow lmao like 1-person width 🙂

I really loved the French toast. Super buttery and the taste of peanut butter. The egg meat sandwichew were alright, I wish they had some spicy sauce out.

Ordered pork chop in curry sauce on rice for takeaway. Totally worth the price for HKD$60, generous portion. Pork chop also boneless. Curry sauce a lil bit too sweet for me but still enjoyable. At first we were queuing at another restaurant for pork chop but takes too long. So we decided to try another pork chop around and found this place. Fast service. If youre going to takeaway just go directly to the cashier. We just wait for <5 mins.

I had a very short trip to HK but I'm so glad I made time for this spot. We dined in and got a table immediately, though we had to share with some others at a bigger table. Once seated, you have to order at the front. We ordered the egg truffle sandwich, bo lo bao with butter, and the tomato macaroni soup. Everything was on point. The bo lo bao was crisp and light. The tomato soup was also super flavorful and comforting. We also got the milk tea which was great. Even though my partner doesn't like eggs, he still ate the sandwich! It did not have any bitter aftertaste. We also got the half tea half coffee which was also good! I hope to go back when I visit again!

We asked at our hotel front desk for a suggestion for a local breakfast spot. The restaurant is My Cup of Tea, we were told to try the hot milk tea because Eric Cheng is an award winner. We also ordered their Pineapple shaped bun, BBQ Pork in herbal noodle soup. We were early and we wereable to secure a table for 2. The restaurant is tiny and clean. They have menus in English and the staff is helpful. Definitely a place to try.

Great place to grab quick breakfast! Hong Kong Milk Tea - strong milk tea. Instead of condensed milk, you just add sugar. Pineapple bun with satay beef - the pineapple bun was crispy on the outside and super soft on the inside. Sadly there was only two small pieces of beef. Egg sandwich - scrambled eggs and duck eggs with parsley.

The Hong Kong styled milk tea here is SO smooth, and it definitely does NOT leave a bitter aftertaste like many places do. We also ordered the corned beef egg sandwich to share, and it was by far the BEST one I've ever had! The bread was so soft, and the smooth egg x corn beef ratio was perfect :) My Cup Of Tea was really busy when I went around 12:30pm on a weekday. People are constantly pouring in to order and to pick up food. The staff were friendly, worked extremely fast, and orders literally spit out in seconds. Seating is pretty limited inside (there are tables in a little alcove near the back, or you can sit at the make-shift counter space along the narrow hallway); most people just order to-go. You order and pay first at the front counter, then wait for your number to be called, and fetch for you food when it comes out on the kitchen counter lol.

Amazing tiny place in Honk Kong. So good we went twice for breakfast, great mile tea and amazing sandwiches and soups!

Where I come from there is no good Milk Tea. I just wish I have My Cup of Tea's tea/coffee at least once a week and I would be so happy. What you like and what you think a cup of good tea is totally subjective. For HKD$16, my drink just made me happy and thinking maybe I should just move to Hong Kong permanently. Yup, it is that good!

The milk tea is very good. I feel the was too much I've and diluted it later, so order less ice should help. The egg and satay beef sandwich is pretty amazing. I actually think the satay beef is not as flavorful as I want but the sandwich bread is so fresh and soft... Goodness sake... The egg is so silky, it's a wonderful quick snack. Don't think about l bring 30 friends over for a milk tea, it only offer a few bar seat and a table that's always occupied. More like a take out place.

Tight spot, fast service, good food and convenient location. Sandwich and milk tea (yum....) combo is just perfect. The pork bun is interesting as Chinese style BBQ port is on the sweet side so my mind got confused when I see a hamburger but taste BBQ pork bun (talk about cognitive dissonance!) Nice surprise and fast food joint.

My review is primarily for the Hong Kong milk tea. This shop serves my favorite Hk milk tea in the city. Most places the milk tea will have a slight bitter taste or will be over sweetened. I find my cup of tea has the right level of sweetness and is really smooth. I haven't had too many of the food options but the pineapple bun and beef date sandwich are both pretty good. There typically isn't a long line and you can get your order within 10 minutes. Not a lot of seating so this more of a place to order takeaway. The price is right as well as you can a bite to eat and a milk tea for under 50 HKD.

IMO the best classic HK style milk tea! Smooth & balanced flavors. Very Lightly sweet. Also must try any of their sandwiches with eggs. We enjoyed the satay beef with egg sandwiches & corned beef sandwiches. It's a tiny shop but very cleverly designed for fast workflow. I highly recommend this if you are in the area.

This is probably the best Hong Kong style milk tea. I brought my parents there who are Hong Kong style milk tea lovers, they made a big round of applause after having their first sip. They love it is all that matters! Thank you, my cup of tea.

Like a coffee shop, but Hong Kong style milk tea! They sell milk tea, yuan yang (combo of coffee/milk tea), and a few other drinks along with sandwiches and pienapple buns. There isn't seating so you can stand at the counters and enjoy your food and beverage. The tea master is super friendly and loves to share his insight on tea culture!

The milk tea here is amazing, and the owner is super friendly--he was so happy to hear we were American tourists! Both the hot and cold milk teas were delicious and tasted authentic. Would highly recommend a visit here!
