After visiting Luang Prabang multiple times, I was looking for a hotel that was outside the fray of the main peninsula but still close enough to walk to town. I was also looking for a nice place to cater for a large group of people including families with children for nine nights. This place was perfect. A beautiful, serene location on the banks of the Nam Khan. The hotel managers, Mrs Kaisone and Mr Santi, happily organised many vans, tuk tuks and tours whilst the bar and kitchen staff looked after our every need. The breakfast provided a wide range of options, including delicious Khao Soi. The rooms were clean and well furnished and the gardens were immaculate. There were multiple pools for us to enjoy and the staff even provided me with an unexpected birthday cake. Gotta love Laos and the Lao people. A perfect holiday location. Thank you, My Dream Boutique Resort Hotel!

Very nice hotel with a peaceful and serene property. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. There is a complimentary shuttle service to the airport or the post office in town as well which is convenient. The food and drinks are great as well as the included breakfast buffet! Truly a dream place.

We stayed 3 nights at this beautiful hotel. From the street it looks like you have perhaps got the address wrong but once you walk down the walkway, it opens into a stunning reception and dining area overlooking a glistening pool surrounded by tropical trees. Beyond the pool is the Nam Khan which is a tributary of the mighty Mekong River. There are lovely huts to sit in down by the river.|We stayed in the classic room which opens onto a covered veranda. The king size bed had a mosquito net and beautiful linen. There was a ceiling fan and air conditioner. The bathroom was well appointed. The room was impeccably clean and fresh. Fresh bottles of water were delivered every day.|We ate breakfasts (included) and dinners in the restaurant which were varied and reasonably priced. I am vegetarian and this was no issue and most meals could be easily adapted. |We used the free hotel bicycles for a ride into Mt Phou si. We also hired a motorcycle from the hotel for a day trip to Kuang Si Falls and Bear Sanctuary. There is a free hotel shuttle into town as well as a free shuttle to the airport.|Staff were incredibly friendly, attentive and helpful over any issues. Staff assisted us to find quite out-of-the-way places and made phone calls for us to arrange visits. |The hotel location is very central, just a few minutes over the Old French Bridge to the main part of town. |We enjoyed our stay very much and would highly recommend!

The staff was very kind and attentive. Breakfast was good and there are gluten-free options. The hotel is close to the airport. I would say the place is good value for money. However, the mattress dipped in the middle so my partner and I did not sleep very well when we stayed here. It hurt my back. The safe was broken in our room and we could not set a code so had to use the key which reduces the level of security seeing that we had to leave the key at the reception because there was only one key to the safe and we didn’t want to risk losing it. The hotel absolves itself of any responsibility in case your valuables go missing but we were in a situation where we had to use a key and leave it with someone at the reception. Additionally, the safe’s battery ran out and kept us awake on our last night because it kept beeping. There is a shuttle service to town but the schedule is limited to 21:30 back to the hotel so if you want to stay out late, it’s a 25 minute walk to the hotel from the night market.

Nice boutique resort by the Nam Khan river in Luang Prabang. Stayed there for 3 nights and had a very good time. Lots of greenery and open spaces inside the property. The pool was also nice.||The chairs at the edge of the resort, overlooking the Nam Khan river and a nice view of Phousi Hill was my favourite place to relax.||The breakfast was delicious with a delightful variety of fresh and flavours options.||The location is however a bit far from the Old Quarter, but they provide complimentary shuttle to the old quarter which makes it really convenient.

I believe you’ll have an amazing time at this hotel. The staff are friendly and supportive. The served food is very delicious. The rooms were very clean and fresh, we also had a cozy balcony. I would advise you to bring your own shampoo and shower gel because the ones at the hotel had a specific smell and we honestly didn’t like it. We also wish the pool could close later than 19:00. It’s so hot in the afternoon, we can’t swim at that time, so if the pool could close at 21:00 for example, it would be awesome! The hotel is also a bit far from the city center and there is a dangerous bridge that you have to cross every time you go to the city center.

We had a lovely stay here! Friendly, helpful staff, spacious rooms with sunny balconies, clean, great shower, and yummy breakfast. We got to use bicycles for free and rented a motorbike. Easy walk into town.

My Dream Boutique Resort is a beautiful and relaxing place, with kind staff who helped us book our Laos trip and even advanced money we later returned in cash. We borrowed bikes from the hotel, which was very convenient. The room wasn’t big but had a terrace with a beautiful view, and the pool was lovely. Breakfast was simple but enjoyable, served on a terrace. The only downside was the full-day tour we booked through the hotel — it turned out to be just transport (car and boat), without a guide or tickets, so not what we expected. Overall, a very good stay.
