We had an absolutely wonderful stay ant My Guest Roma and a huge part of that was thanks to the incredible owner, Stefano. From the moment we arrived, he was exceptionally polite, helpful, and kind. His warm welcome set the tone for the entire visit. Stefano went above and beyond to ensure all guests felt comfortable and well taken care of.||He was always available to answer any questions and provide assistance, making our stay seamless and enjoyable. His local knowledge was invaluable—his tourist tips were spot on, helping us to discover hidden gems and must-see spots that we would have otherwise missed.||The hostel itself was clean, well-maintained, and had a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. The room was spacious and comfortably furnished and it was clear that Stefano takes great pride in his establishment and genuinely cares about his guests' experiences.||I highly recommend staying at this place. You'll not only find a great place to stay but also a host who truly enhances your travel experience with his kindness, expertise, and outstanding hospitality.

Our stay in My Guest Roma was wonderful largely thanks to Stefano: he was invariably prompt, helpful, very generous, kind, and the best source of information about the area of the hotel and Rome in general. One can read property descriptions and look at the pictures, but the key to a great experience in a foreign city is a friendly host. Stefano really takes care of his guests; therefore, staying with him felt so comfortable and safe. In addition, the hotel is very conveniently located -- several minute walk to buses connecting to the city center and many attractions. The location is also perfect for observant Jewish travelers because of several kosher stores and cafes/restaurants. Stefano is able to help with take-outs, hotplate, boiler, key belt (there is no yiruv), Shabbat light, etc.. In a word -- nothing but many, many thanks to him for being a wonderful host and the highest recommendations of his hospitality.

Stefano, the host, is most helpful in accommodating his guest’s needs and available easily when needed, communicates with care, and his accommodation is very reasonably priced compared to the prices in the area, and in consideration of the good quality rooms/suites you get. |The rooms- are very clean and comfortable, equipped appropriately. |He’s in the heart of a beautiful, looked-after neighbourhood, by Piazza Bologna, with good access to everything from transport to centre of Rome, serene parks nestled between quiet streets, as well as plenty of options for food and shops (plus bars and restaurants open to late, by the Piazza, a few minutes walk away).|I warmly recommend Stefano’s place.

Great location (near bus station or metro Bologna), beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great host. Everything about the accomodation was exceptional. It was clean, stylish. We had small room for four people, but it was enough for us. Most of all I appreciate the excellent communication from the host and his helpfulness. We were very pleased with our stay.

For those planning to see Rome on a budget, there is no better place to stay than My Guest Roma, and a better host than Stefano would be hard to find.|I would not exactly call My Guest Roma a bed and breakfast, a hotel or an Airbnb, but it is a kind of combination of all three; a very modest continental breakfast is available. All and all, a very comfortable place to stay.||Located in the Bolonga section of Rome in a classic building, it is a two-minute walk to the bus to the main areas of town. The Metro is a ten-minute walk. Many restaurants, cafes and pubs are located on the main street.||Just off the main roads are small quiet streets, lined with trees, flowers, and beautiful houses including foreign embassies. The area is great for leisure walks, and far safer than downtown. It was obviously a very elite section of Rome, and remains quite attractive.||We found it very easy to get to and from the airport via regular rail, and one stop on the metro. There was no need to take a taxi or more expensive express train then transferring to metro or taxi.|||For the observant Jewish traveler:||Bologa is an area where some Jewish immigrants settled after migrating from the former Italian colony of Libya. ||Within a quick 12-minute walk, there are synagogues with daily minyanim, a kosher bakery/café and kosher eateries. Chabad is a 7-minute walk from My Guest Roma.||For a couple Euro extra, you can daily be served a small continental breakfast of coffee, a small croissant, and some other package sweets. Chalov Yisrael is available at a slight extra charge. You might want to bypass this offer and have breakfast at the kosher bakery.||On Shabbat, Stefano sets you up with a special belt for keys, since there is no eruv in Rome. There is also a Shabbos clock in the room, with a plata shabbat and hot water for tea and coffee available. |

My wife and I flew to Italy and stayed at MY Guest Roma. We could not have stayed at a better place. It was reasonably priced and our host, Stephano, was amazing. He arranged transportation from the airport, met us when we arrived giving us maps and directions to everything we wanted to see, and explained everything we needed to know including where to shop, the best restaurants for dining, the best forms of transportation, and the different coins we needed to use. He became more than just our host. He became our friend. If we visit Rome again, we will definitely stay at "My Guest Roma." I highly recommend it to anyone wishing to visit Rome.

My husband and I spent two weeks at My Guest Roma. It was a wonderful experience on all levels. Stefano was accommodating, exceedingly helpful and gave consistently good advice regarding any questions we posed. The room was large , clean , air conditioned and had an in the wall safe. The absolute best part of each day was the coffee and pastry that arrived each morning on a tray with a gentle knock on the door and a smile .|The location in the Piazza Bologna area was just perfect. It’s a vibrant Jewish community with kosher meat restaurants , bakery/ dairy restaurant , gelato shop , kosher store , and three active synagogues. The area is lovely, and quieter than the Jewish ghetto. Cabbing to the city center or Jewish ghetto was easy, though public transportation is also readily available. The people in the neighborhood are lovely , friendly and very proud . We highly recommend My Guest Roma for anyone , but especially for the kosher visitor to Rome.

Unbelievable personalized service and care. We cannot thank Stefano enough for his help and all of his time. My aging parents went on their first vacation ever to Europe and it would have been a disaster as my Father's luggage was lost by the airline and my Mom's cell phone (the only one they had with them) was lost in a taxi. Stefano worked tirelessly to contact both airline and cab company even over the weekend until both were recovered just in time for their boarding of their cruise. He kept in contact with us here in Atlanta too. Cannot express enough gratitude and appreciation. My parents were also pleased with the location, the accommodations, and the amazing value. If they had not stayed here who knows how this trip would have gone. THANK YOU STEFANO!!! Gracie! Gracie! Gracie!

Yelp
We had a wonderful stay at My Guest Roma. We couldn't have felt more welcome. Stefano was an exceptional host, going way beyond the call of duty to spend a lot of time with us to help organize our sightseeing in Rome. We were treated like long lost family. The accommodations were impeccably clean and Nedaesha went out of her way anticipating our needs before we knew what they were. We appreciated the cholov yisroel breakfasts which kept us going til dinner and the plentiful shabos meals. Several kosher restaurants are nearby. The location was convenient, half a block from the bus stop which took us to Piazza Venezia (where all our touring started each day) in just 20 minutes. If we return to Rome, we would definitely stay at My Guest Roma again.

Yelp
I can't say enough good things about My Guest Roma. From the accommodations and breakfast to travel guidance and flexibility, everything was outstanding. Stefano, the man with whom we booked the rooms and spoke with the most, was wonderful, so friendly and knowledgeable. My husband and I needed a late check in, like way after hours, and Stefano and his staff cheerfully accommodated our request. The room was clean, bright, and well-kept. Upon entering the first time and seeing the room, with all its furnishings and amenities, my husband remarked that he was glad we were spending this most time at this particular lodging. A discreet mini-fridge under the desk was quite useful and the fresh flowers in a vase was a wonderful homey touch. (Also exciting was the bidet, an especial, delightful oddity for Americans.) At breakfast the first day Stefano greeted us warmly and offered to sit with us to help plan our time in Rome beyond what we thought of ourselves. He knew all the major spots to go to as well as some "off the beaten path" spots. We found ourselves busy and with full itineraries for our three full days in Rome. The location of the apartments, in Bologna, is a quick subway ride away from city-center and a reasonable taxi ride. A convenient 24-hour supermarket just a block down the street satisfied late night cravings and snack necessities. Really though, the action that stands out to me the most was of how considerately we were thought . We also needed an early check-out, like at 6 in the morning to make our flight home. The day before we told this to Stefano, to make sure nothing further was needed for check out. He asked if we would like breakfast for the next day, and after some awkwardness from us (wanted to say yes, not sure how to say yes) he said he would send the food to our room for breakfast. When we got back in the evening, we were so shocked with what was sent. What a spread! It was more than enough and lasted throughout our journey home. Thank you, Stefano, and the whole My Guest Roma staff, for helping to provide us with a wonderful time in Rome and very fond memories. Can't wait to come visit again!

Yelp
My family of 4 spent 3 nights at My Guest Roma in June, 2018. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. My boys, 8 and 10, loved the bunk bed. Our room was large, very clean and very comfortable. The breakfast every morning was great and kept us going well past lunch time. Cereal, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, pastries, toast and jam, juices, hot chocolate for the kids and excellent coffee for us. Couldn't have really asked for much more. The location is great, a short bus or metro ride to all of the big sights, a super market 1 block away and plenty of convenience stores, cafes and restaurants a short walk from the property. The biggest selling point, however, is Stefano. He provides personalized service from the minute your reservation is confirmed. He gave us advice on sites to see, the best times to go, which tickets to buy before arriving in Rome and which to buy on site. He arranged for a car to pick us up at the airport and bring us to the property. Once there, he gave us maps and sat down to explain how to get where we wanted to go with the bus and/or metro. He even helped us find the best train prices from Rome to Naples! There is also laundry service, which we used and greatly appreciated. I have never been so well taken care of! Thank you Stefano for a wonderful stay in Rome!!

Yelp
We stayed in for 10 days with our 2 college age children. Our 2 friends also joined us for a long weekend. We did a lot of research before our stay and are extremely happy with our decision. The location was excellent, safe and easy to walk to the bus and metro for a short ride to all the major sites. We stayed in the "Apartment" which had large bedrooms and bathroom, plus comfy kitchen/dining/living room area. There was plenty of room for the 6 of us. It has large double doors in the quad room that opens to a lovely balcony. We cannot say enough good things about Stefano. Such a warm, intelligent and caring host! Every detail to make your stay wonderful is taken care of personally. Even though our daughter planned the trip's outings in detail ahead of time, Stefano's insider knowledge was invaluable in our daily plans. Eccezionale!
