My Gym

MyGym in West Orange is my daughter’s Favorite place. I have been bringing her here since she’s been six months old and now I’m repeating it with her younger sister. My daughter always lights up when she realizes that she arrived at MyGym. The classes are beyond amazing with great teachers that have passion, and drive the class with a ton of energy! Mostly every time we leave my daughter cries because she wants to stay. I go almost every week and They do a great job keeping exciting by rearranging the gym every week And also they keep it very clean. This place is also a huge lifesaver during the winter months to get out of the house and socialize with little ones. Marquis is an amazing teacher and my daughter has grown a special connection with him!

We just celebrated my daughter, Valentina's 1st birthday, at My Gym in West Orange and I cannot say enough good things about the entire experience! From the very first moment we booked, Denise, the director, was unbelievably patient and accommodating. Every single question or request we had, the answer was always “yes,” and she went above and beyond to make sure we felt supported and stress-free. Our theme was "Isn't she lovely, isn't she ONEderful" decorated with bows, and Denise even helped us track down items to bring the theme to life. She didn’t just stop there—she personally assisted me with all of the decorations, making sure everything looked beautiful so that I could truly relax and enjoy the day with my family and guests. That level of care and thoughtfulness is so rare, and it meant the world to us. Chris, who co-hosted with Denise, was also incredible with the kids—so fun, energetic, and engaging. Together, they created such a warm, joyful atmosphere where the kids had a blast and the parents could just sit back and enjoy. The staff made this milestone celebration not only memorable but completely stress-free. If you’re considering where to celebrate your child’s special day, do not hesitate—My Gym West Orange is the place. Our son loves the Gymsters class- we go several times a week. The instructors are well-trained and very fun! Great strength/skill training activities for our 2-year-old :)

Had my son's 3rd birthday party here and it was an amazing experience. I cannot give Marquis and Ryan enough praise. They kept the kids entertained and engaged during game time and just being silly overall. They were professional, nice and so easy to work with. This was the least stressed party I've ever hosted. All the kids had so much fun, especially my son. It's been weeks since the party and he's still talking about and asking when the next one will be. I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a place to have a kid's party of any kind. Just a note that it was a little difficult for some of my friends to find the place amidst the construction happening around the parking lot. Not My Gym's fault, just unfortunate circumstances beyond their control. I'm sure when the construction is over, this will be less of a problem.

We recently celebrated our son’s 2nd birthday at My Gym, and it was an absolutely exceptional experience from start to finish! We had over 20 kids present, and despite the chaos, the staff remained engaged and attentive the entire time. The kids had an incredible time, and I’ve never seen my son smile so much. The staff went above and beyond to make the day special, recognizing and engaging with my son multiple times throughout the event. Their attentiveness and genuine care made him feel like the star of the show. The games and activities were perfectly tailored for the age group, keeping all the little ones entertained and happy. It was clear that a lot of thought and effort went into planning the activities, ensuring they were both fun and safe for the kids. The joy and laughter that filled the room were truly heartwarming. The only minor downside was the restriction on the type of pizza we could order, which wasn’t to my personal taste. However, this small issue was far outweighed by the overall amazing experience. The staff’s dedication, the well-organized activities, and the sheer happiness on my son’s face made it a day to remember. I highly recommend My Gym for any child’s birthday celebration. Overall, I was impressed with the staff's engagement, creativity in developing age-appropriate activities, genuine care for the kids, and commitment to ensuring a well-executed event. They truly know how to create magical moments and unforgettable memories. Thank you, My Gym, for making our son’s birthday so special!

My nieces and their friends have been having their birthday parties and attending classes at this location for years, and they have ALWAYS been so amazing. The place is clean, and the staff is super friendly, high-energy and very gracious with the kids. Everyone has a great time. They make everyone feel special and included, even the shy kids, and I've always been impressed by that.

Markis & his Staff are Incredibly friendly Teachers with the kids. I can tell, they do the best to keep our little ones happy, busy and engaged with the class. Even thought takes me a little distance driving, it is all worth it for my kids because they are happy and love this place . 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Love MyGym West Orange!! My son was there & had a smile on his face the entire time. From a parent’s perspective, I cannot recommend this place enough. Not only did my son have a great time, but the gym was clean, & the staff was wonderful. We’ve been to other places like this, and between it being more affordable than most others & the experience from start to finish, we wont go anywhere else!

We LOVE My Gym! So, we did this two-week trial, and man, we totally vibed with the whole community and setup. Our little dude had a blast--shoutout to the rockstar teachers, Orlando and Cara, they were fantastic. Honestly, we walked in not knowing what to expect, just wanting something for our 7-month-old to do during the chilly months, and bam, fell head over heels. Now, here's the lowdown--I'd be all over that membership if it was a bit more budget-friendly AND would be awesome if there were more class options for parents juggling work and tiny humans. I'm ready to sign up, just need a schedule that fits the parent hustle, you know? BUT if I won the lottery tomorrow, a membership here would be a no brainer. It is amazing and great for your tiny human - I cannot recommend it enough!

My Gym never disappoints! I had taken two of my kids to classes there and had one birthday party. Life caught up to me and I haven't been able to take my youngest yet, but recently attended two kids' parties and nothing has changed! So fun and just a great time :) The staff is very engaging, and I highly recommend for classes and/or parties!

They threw the best birthday for my 5 year old girl. Every single kid had a blast, even the shy ones. Andrew especially made it great, the kids loved him and were laughing the whole time. We had the last party of the day and I'm sure they were exhausted but they didn't show it and were so nice and energetic!

My 4 year old son has been going to My Gym gymnastics, and now ninja classes, since he was 2 years old. We love this place so much! The teachers and the activities they do are top notch. The gym is so clean too. He's having his 5th birthday party with our pod friends in a few weeks and he can't wait! I'm happy to support such a wonderful local business during these tough times.

My 3 year old son loves Saturdays at My Gym. Marquis, the instructor, is the utmost professional and is just so great with the kids. They love him and his team. Also, the gym is so clean and organized.

MyGym West Orange offers the the absolute best Children's Development classes out there! We've tried Gymboree (Paramus & Chatham locations), and the Little Gym In Livingston. The energy in these MyGym classes is just right, and they are always challenging and very fun. They do a lot of different activities to keep the child's interest and desire to learn. The #1 reason I have been taking my daughter here for the past two years is because of the instructors. They are two in each class. Alyssa was the one that pulled us in. She is an amazing instructor who helped my daughter and I feel comfortable. She cared, and gave my daughter the attention that she needed. When we moved on to a different level and time slot, Andrew became our class instructor and he is the absolute BEST! He continues to teach her through today and even did her birthday party yesterday flawlessly. I couldn't have asked for anything more. They helped incorporate activities into the theme, helped set up and clean up, and provided the most entertaining birthday party ever! Teachers like Andrew, DeeDee, and Marques are the #1 reasons this MyGym West Orange is so successful. They are very talented and pleasant teachers who are able to keep your child's interest in development while making them have an endless amount of fun and stay physically fit. My daughter loves it and can't get enough. Definitely check it out because you don't know what your missing out on until you try it!

I recently became a nanny to a child who goes to my gym and have had great experiences with the classes there so far. The staff I am used to being there teaching classes have always been high energy, attentive, and my charge loves them. The curriculum is really great and I enjoy that they mix play time with basic gymnastics skills. Yesterday at the Halloween party though, there were other staff there who I had never seen before. There was one teacher in particular who I found to be really unsettling, hence the 2 star review. I am not sure I caught his name, I think they introduced him as Marcus? but he was wearing a black robe for a costume, and the whole time I was there I saw him behaving strangely with the kids, carrying them around when they were too old to need to be carried, letting them jump all over him, and having them ride on his back like a horse. I understand some teacher's like to be more hands on with the kids, but this seemed like a bit too much for me, and I overheard some of the other adults there mumbling about it too, so I don't think I was the only one who found it a bit creepy. I just got some really off putting vibes from him and felt compelled to put it out there. I don't want to get anyone in trouble, but I think people maybe want to be aware of that one teacher, you can't really be too careful these days.

My daugher and I simply love My Gym of West Orange. Her face lights up when she sees the facility out of the car window. The staff of My Gym in West Orange is fantastic. They are all so energetic, loving and hands on. It is clearly evident they truly love what they do. Each class is filled with fun adventures and activities geared towards helping the children grow both mentally and pysically. My daughter continually sings all the songs of circle time at home and practices all the moves!! The facilty is very well managed and always very clean. I would recommend My Gym of West Orange to anyone.
