My House Dumpling

This is a large and always busy restaurant specialising in yum cha dishes and other traditional Asian faves. They provide an iPad with full meal and drink options (including photos) listed which makes ordering a breeze. Meals are delivered fast and come out freshly cooked and steaming hot. Despite lots of options to choose from, the quality of each dish is consistently high. Salt and pepper chicken with steamed rice is one of my faves, washed down with a home made lemonade. The staff are attentive and despite being busy they are always polite and helpful. Condiments are provided on each table to add to meals and include salt and pepper, crunchy chilli oil (delicious!) and soy sauce. Bookings are recommended during lunch and dinner times due popularity. They cater to vegetarians and have tables for one or two up to groups.

My husband and i are always on the hunt for authentic quality food. We avoid trendy spots that prioritize instagram asthetics over actual flavor. House of dumpling is a refreshing change. They focus on the food- where it should be. Its delicious and reasonably priced. We highly recommend this place

One of my go to uber eats spots. In person it’s also great. You can order from an iPad which I love and the service is quick. Our server however wasn’t the most attentive. The stand out meal is always the spicy pork dumplings. Crazy crazy good I get them every time. Another win was the kimchi and beef pan fried dumplings.

The Milk tea tasted like milky water, the meat roll was over-cooked on the outside, the fried rice was the best dish but was fairly tasteless and the hot and sour dumpling soup wasn't sour or spicy. My partner is Taiwanese so maybe that sets a high bar but definitely not worth the money. Wouldn't go back.

As we weren’t too hungry we decided to try a few dishes from this Taiwanese restaurant and it was an ok experience. Food were ok, service was quick and quite pleasant, spacey place, off street parking can be a challenge to get. Worth trying if you’re into dumplings or Taiwanese food

In the heart of Leederville providing fresh tasty food in a friendly place. I had the wanton pork and prawn soup which was nourishing and delicious. The kwau tao was excellent too .. strongly recommend 👍

What a delightful surprise! Attentive service staff. The savory and sweet dumplings were steamy with delicious fillings. Very tasty wok fried beef rice noodles.

I really enjoyed the Xiao Long Bao – they were full of flavour and served piping hot, just as they should be. The menu is displayed on an iPad with photos of each dish, which makes it very easy to choose what you’d like. The wontons with chilli and peanut sauce were especially delicious. Prices are a little higher than some other dim sum places, but considering the location and overall experience, it feels reasonable.
