What a delightful surprise! Attentive service staff. The savory and sweet dumplings were steamy with delicious fillings. Very tasty wok fried beef rice noodles.

I really enjoyed the Xiao Long Bao – they were full of flavour and served piping hot, just as they should be. The menu is displayed on an iPad with photos of each dish, which makes it very easy to choose what you’d like. The wontons with chilli and peanut sauce were especially delicious. Prices are a little higher than some other dim sum places, but considering the location and overall experience, it feels reasonable.

My House Dumpling – A Cozy Late Lunch Spot in Leederville It’s surprisingly hard to find a cosy, sit-down Asian lunch spot in Leederville after 3pm, so I was thrilled to stumble upon My House Dumpling, which stays open until 4pm. What a gem! The menu is packed with tempting options, but since I was dining solo and didn’t want to order dim sum meant for sharing, I went with the Taiwanese beef brisket noodle soup. It did not disappoint—the beef was melt-in-your-mouth tender, the noodles had that perfect springy bite, and the broth was deeply flavorful and comforting. The service was lovely too—the server was kind, friendly, and made me feel welcome. I also appreciated that spices, sauces, and water were already set up on the table for easy access. I honestly couldn’t believe I finished the entire bowl, but it was just that good. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a hearty, delicious Asian meal in a warm and inviting setting—especially if you're craving something satisfying a bit later in the afternoon!

The first one and noodle are amazing. Other dumplings and beef are quite OK for me.

Xiao long bao has a good flavourful filling, with just the right amount of soup so it's not scalding hot. The wrapping is on the chewier side. The dumplings with chilli oil and peanut sauce is amazing with a really flavourful sauce and a slight kick. You can also buy a jar of that sauce from them and make it at home.

Authentic Chinese cuisine executed well. Service fast and attention to detail. All dishes served piping hot even the rice bowls were warmed up and water already on the table on arrival. Signature Xiao long Bao well made, skin delicate and soup savory. Well priced, will be back to try more dishes.

There was a small group of us sharing an abundance of food on a busy Sunday dinner service. We all chose meals and shared them on the table from dumplings to honey pork, tempura squid and beef stew, the food was served quickly and was devoured. There was so much leftover that we took some home! The highlight was the mocktail, tasted yummy and was visually super-cute.
