Mỹ Khánh Tourist Village is a good place to spend a few hours, especially for families. The entrance fee is reasonable, and there are plenty of things to see, including traditional Vietnamese houses, farming exhibits, and a variety of food stalls offering tasty local dishes and snacks.
However, one major downside was the use of animals for entertainment. The monkeys were made to perform in a circuit act, and there were dog and pig races, which felt unnecessary and uncomfortable to watch. Additionally, some dogs were kept in tiny cages and looked unhealthy, which raised serious concerns about their well-being. It’s disappointing to see animals being used this way for profit, and I really hope the management improves their treatment and conditions.
Aside from that, the cultural aspects were interesting, and the food was good, but the animal performances left a bad impression. If they removed these practices, this would be a much better experience for visitors.
