On the Grid : My Little Melbourne

"This intimate, homey café in the heart of the city is famous for serving of the best espressos in the city, offered alongside weekly and bi-weekly guest coffees from around the world, but mostly from Europe. They serve tasty caffeine elixirs, salads, sandwiches, croissants, juices, and soft drinks, and at the adjacent brew bar they have delicious filter coffee, too. Beware of the dangerously cute dogs that are also welcome at this ever-popular Budapest café." - We Love Budapest

I had a latte and a Cinnamon Bulle. The tase of latte was amazing and after some chat with the barista and he mentioned the coffee beans are light roasted. The atmosphere was great too. It's worth trying. It cost me in tital about 12 CAD but worth trying and chitchating with them. It was during a hot day in Budapest, 31 degrees and it was a bit hot in there. It they kept the door the air was pleasant inside.

Slightly hidden away but an absolute gem of a coffee shop. Ladies who served us were friendly and knowledgeable. The double espresso I had was suitably strong yet smooth and the Swedish bun I had, a bit like a heavier croissant, was absolutely delicious. My friend had the V60 and got a choice of coffee bean which he was over the moon with being a coffee connoisseur. They discussed the beans and how it was made with him which he absolutely loved. Highly recommend!

Cute cafe located just next to Anker Palace, the ladies were really friendly and nice and you get what you order. They also sell beans from famous Nomad coffee roaster.

Beautifully prepared coffee with a temperature not too cold or too hot, it was just right. As a little note by the cashiers states, adding sugar destroys the taste, and it is absolutely true. Their coffee doesn’t need the sugar boost, it is perfect in every meaning. Had a latte with lactose free milk, will go back for more very soon.

The staff are incredibly friendly and provide great explanations about the coffee. I was simply curious about the difference between a regular cappuccino and an Aussie cappuccino(never seen this menu in europe before!) After trying both, I found that they both had beautiful latte art, but the Aussie cappuccino has chocolate, giving it a mocha-like flavor. The prices are reasonable too. This might be the best coffee shop in Budapest. I definitely want to come back :) Thank you for creating such wonderful memories! You guys made my day.🥹

i saw pictures of this cafe, immediately wanted to go. it’s a small, cozy cafe which makes it harder to get a table, especially if you’re with a bigger group of people. the coffee was good, just a bit on the pricier side, however i feel like it was worth the money. the servers do speak english so that is a big plus :) they also serve pastries and they looked delicious.

I highly recommend this if you’re a coffee lover. Aussie Cap is one of the best coffee I’ve ever tasted. Also ordered flat white and it was great, the coffee is strong. They also sell beans. The space itself is quiet small but well decorated. Not much space for sitting inside, more seats outside but if you don’t smoke you might be bothered. I really like that they put on a sign “If you use sugar the magic is gone” 😃 couldn’t agree more. Since I collect coffee cups, it would be better if they have their own printed cup or a stamped regular cup. Sadly the take away cups have no logo/sign. - ⭐️ Aussie Cappuccino (1350 huf) - Flat white (1450 huf)
