34 Gorgeous Beach House Rentals Around the World

"If you're traveling with a group of pool-lovers who prefer a view of the ocean to the actual sand, this stunning mountaintop home may be just the ticket. That said, it's a 10-minute drive down to the beaches of Mykonos should you want to take a dip in the ocean, too. Beyond the poolside lounge chairs and outdoor dining table, the Airbnb can sleep up to six inside—four on beds (a double and two twins) and two on the sofa bed. It comes with a free parking spot and fresh towels offered daily." - Alex Erdekian,Jamie Spain

We had a fantastic 7 night B&B stay at My Mykonos Hotel. On arrival we were greeted with cold flannels and a drink before being shown to our rooms. Our friends had booked a Double Town Sea View room which although quite compact did, as the name suggests, have a lovely balcony with far reaching views over the town below and sea beyond. We chose to upgrade to a Private Pool Deluxe room which was slightly larger with a decked terrace and plunge pool. The room was nice with a great shower, good storage and completmentary toileties which were topped up daily along with bottles of water. Although no other drinks were provided in the mini bar, the staff directed us to a supermarket nearby which enabled us to fill the fridge with other beverages and snacks. The rooms plunge pool was very cold, as was the main pool, but in all honesty it was quite refreshing having laid out on the comfortable loungers in the hot sun. What we loved about this hotel was just how attentive the three guys who operated the breakfast and bar/restaurant were during the day time. They would be straight out to your lounger with a pool towel as you arrived and made great coffee and drinks when requested. The breakfast was varied and nicely presented with something for everyone. We didnt try anything from the food menu but it looked lovely as it was bought out to other guests. We did endulge in a couple of cocktails one night which were really nice but expect to pay Mykonos sea front prices. |The hotel is in a great location with no need for transport as the supermarket is a two minute walk away, two fabulous restaurants five minutes away and either a longer road walk or more challenging ten minute short cut lane down to the town. With only a 15 minute transfer to the airport this hotel will remain on our saved list for a long weekend break in the future and we look forward to returning.

Definitely NOT a 4 star hotel. We were given a room that accommodates 4 but really small. Barely a place to keep our things in order. Had to keep 2 people’s things in our luggage. We felt it was more a boutique motel than a boutique hotel. Definitely more like 3 stars. Although management was nice to give us a free dinner, it truly wasn’t enough. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone unfortunately! It’s also not in a great location, super busy and hard to cross the street to get to d town which is a very steep walk down to the town.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel in Mykonos! The location was perfect and peaceful yet sufficiently close to the town. Our room was pleasantly clean, and also had an amazing sea view. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, especially the night shift receptionist who really made my stay feel much more hospitable. I even loved how they offered many great local restaurants and sunset bars as well as overall helping us with any troubles throughout the night. We Loved relaxing by the pool and especially enjoyed the breakfast buffet. My family and I would highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a superbly relaxing and memorable Mykonos getaway.

Stayed for 3 nights. Very basic room and small. We had sea view with balcony which was nice. Nice shower and bed. Linen nice and soft. Only issues were the flickering switches and no English channels. Slight smell to water.. like chlorine.. good breakfast and nice staff. Good coffee. Pool area nice and clean. Quite a walk to town. Transport recommended we had a scooter which reception will arrange for you.

Great place with great views. The rooms are great and cleaned daily. Staff are very friendly and approachable. The pool area is very clean, plenty of sun lounge or sun beds and the pool itself is nice. Breakfast is good with plenty of choices, continental, hot and sweats including plenty of fruit. The only downside was the umbrellas above our room, they kept making noise and reception did took them down in the first night but forgot to do the same the following nights..

We loved our time at My Mykonos. The staff have been so accommodating throughout our stay, with catering to our needs and giving helpful recommendations - special credit to Maria, Athena and the restaurant / pool staff and night reception staff. The room was clean and well kept, pool area was nice and breakfast was good - worth getting included. Location is a short 15 min walk into main town which was easier than getting taxis every time, be warned to wear flats though as hill is steep. Would stay here again, thank you for making our stay special.

From the minute we arrived at My Mykonos Hotel, we were absolutely blown away at the architecture, cleanliness, style and customer service. This hotel isn’t just a place to stay it’s truly an experience. Every detail has been carefully curated to offer guests a luxurious, relaxing, and unforgettable getaway. The staff were amazing, warm, attentive, and always eager to help. Whether it was arranging transport, offering recommendations, or just checking in to see how we were doing, their hospitality was five-star all the way. Food was great and this was by far the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. 100% recommend!!

My partner and I had a wonderful stay at My Mykonos. The staff were warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful throughout our visit. We were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a room featuring a private pool, which made our stay even more special. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and after a hot walk uphill, we were greeted with a refreshing complimentary welcome drink—just what we needed!
