"If you're traveling with a group of pool-lovers who prefer a view of the ocean to the actual sand, this stunning mountaintop home may be just the ticket. That said, it's a 10-minute drive down to the beaches of Mykonos should you want to take a dip in the ocean, too. Beyond the poolside lounge chairs and outdoor dining table, the Airbnb can sleep up to six inside—four on beds (a double and two twins) and two on the sofa bed. It comes with a free parking spot and fresh towels offered daily." - Alex Erdekian,Jamie Spain

If you’re going to come here hire a car. I don’t know how they can say this Hotel is a step away from town.|It is not.|You can’t walk into town it’s dangerous, no crossing and no pavements |There is a steep track that is so steep you have to hang onto the walls as you walk down and very rough ground and took about 25 min. Hardly a step away from town.|They will order a taxi that cost €35. They state they have a Courtesy bus. No it’s an expensive taxi. The hotel has a restaurant which is |expensive for the quality of the food. Beer is €9 and €10 a bottle. A cheese ham toasted sandwich with poor quality bread €10. €40 for the two of us. For €50 for the 2 of us we had a 2 course meal with wine in both of the 2 local restaurants within walking distance. All authentic Greek food. The hotel has very nice facilities. Nice pool and most comfortable sun beds but trying to get one to shade you is hard.

I admit I am a bit biased towards the My Mykonos Hotel - our 10-day stay was to celebrate a birthday at the beginning of October. We had a great stay, with a special compliment to the staff - Emelia and her colleague at front of house and Vivienne and her friend from the kitchen were really professional and friendly - a real asset to the hotel. Our rooms were cleaned early and quickly, with the staff always ready with a smile. ||The reception and pool area are attractive - and, despite what some reviewers say, there is a great view from the poolside looking over Mykonos harbour, the distant islands and the sunsets are truly beautiful.||We stayed in the family rooms (301-308) that surround, and are under, the pool area. Other rooms are by the pool (201-208) and the wing to the west which consists of suites and ground floor suites with plunge pools - I can't vouch for those but looked good. Our rooms were quite basic, similar to many island hotels, with little room to store clothes or unpack your cases. The room looked out on to the car park but that wasn't a big deal - after all, who goes to Mykonos to spend the day in your room!||The inclusive buffet breakfast was pretty good though a bit of a scrum with all guests vying for the food in small space. The disappointing thing was the breakfast room was also the room used in the evening for dinner with no change to menu, lighting or any extra ambience. And, as the food was very expensive, it didn't you encourage to eat in the hotel. ||You can walk into Mykonos Town from there but maybe need an oxygen tent on hand if you walk back. The tip is to rent a car if you're going to be there for more than a few days.

We stayed here in September , wasn’t too busy. Breakfast was delicious with a good selection. Always found sunbeds at the pool, pool area clean and beautiful. Rooms are clean and tidy and modern, we had a large balcony and would have been good to have some sunbeds on the balcony too. Also another mirror in the room as others have said. Lunch and drinks quite pricey. Staff very friendly and helpful

The staff at this hotel are fantastic and so professional but also at the same time friendly. |The room is modern and very clean. My only tip for the hotel would be something to place/store your suitcases in the room. There was a fridge which had 3 bottles of complementary water in that was topped up daily for free (a lovely touch and something we didn’t experience in other hotels in Greece).|The pool is quiet and the sun beds are really comfortable! Whilst we were there there wasn’t an issue with there being enough sun beds and hotel staff stress the importance of not saving/reserving them and we saw them removing towels that had been used to try and reserve some (refreshing that they act upon the rule and not just say it for show!). The pool is lovely and there was plenty of space. There are a few planes that pass overhead but we enjoyed watching them and they quickly pass over so for us this was no problem.|The breakfast was lovely and there was lots of choice and some delicious local products. We were also offered a variety of coffee options for breakfast including frappe’s if required.|The hotel is a 10 minute walk into town but more like 15-20 minutes walk back as it is all uphill. Not for those who aren’t fit. Also, be aware that for some of the walk you have to do it beside a busy road and there is a busy road to cross as well so take care if you go with small children. Could the hotel possibly look into providing a shuttle bus? I’m sure people would also pay a small amount for this service as the price (and availability) of local taxis is extortionate!!|Overall a FANTASTIC hotel.

Me and my partner stayed here a couple of years back (2022) and I completely forgot to leave a review, however just wanted to sing the hotel's praises more than anything! We were visiting from the UK and booked via EasyJet holidays. The hotel aesthetic is very chic and industrial/scandi vibes. We had a room with small private pool which was very private (would say though the pool was quite cold as was shaded for a lot of the day), however this was sometimes nice and refreshing due to the hot temps in late August. Breakfast was lovely, a step up from continental and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room itself was stunning, spacious for 2 people and very good quality furniture. A fair distance from the town, I would recommend hiring a quad bike for the down the road, can't remember the name of the quad hiring business but it was next to Starbucks. We did not mind being a distance away from the town as we liked being a little further out away from the nightlife and cruiseships etc, but was fine with quads! We were able to park our quad-bike on the site and this was safe over night, just a short walkaway from our room. Did not like - cats walking around the hotel/breakfast - ew, understand this can't be helped and they are good for keeping rodents away but can be off-putting when eating your breakfast. We would 100% return and loved our holiday here again.

Nice pool, modern hotel, great breakfast. Shower wasn't working properly though, and the curtain rail fell down on day one. Staff didn't seem very fussed to fix either one of these issues and we had to ask several times. Location is a bit out of town, quite a hike up the hill. Good view though.

We had the most incredible stay at My Mykonos, it is a very romantic and beautiful hotel in a fantastic location. The staff were beyond helpful and very accommodating, they were all lovely and really friendly. Dimitrius was extremely welcoming and very fun as was Mario and Sonya! The food was delicious and the room was cleaned daily. It was a wonderful stay and I could not recommend My Mykonos more highly. Thank you very much!

Checked in on Saturday night and the receptionist wasn't too friendly or enthusiastic about Mykonos as it was too commercial now apparently (she hailed from Athens). The first room we were given was hostel quality with a couple of nice furnishings, no way worth what we had paid for it, depressing to say the least. The bed had wires protruding through the top of the mattress, we had to request a topper for the night to make it more comfortable. The following day we had the pleasure of meeting Emily and Sonya, both of these ladies were fantastic and really helped with allowing us to select another room, the best staff members on the property. We paid to upgrade to a room that had a private Pool, this was much nicer than the hostelesque room we had to begin with. The room was great but overall service wasn't that good, the coffee hadn't been refilled for a couple days and when we requested more pods, we were only given enough for that day, after this, we never received any more refills for the coffee machine. The rooms aren't sound proofed, so there's no chance of a peaceful nights sleep, planes flying over every hour, noisy mopeds riding up and down the nearby streets, you may as well be sleeping outside granted how loud everything appears to be when inside the room. One night we left our key card in the room, on requesting another card from the hotel lobby, a staff member called Dimitri thought it was funny to curse me in Greek (I understand a little bit) for having left my key card in the room whilst his colleague managed to program a new card for me. Having heard this, I complained to the manager. The manager dismissed my feedback and complaint and advised that the chap in question had never had a complaint made against him ever, I find this hard to believe. If you're thinking about spending your hard earned money at this place, think again. I've been lucky to travel all around the world and given the star rating of this property, the standards and amenities are far from 4* it has a motel/hostel feel, pictures are deceiving. Next time we're in Mykonos, I won't be staying here.
